questions...shake

Recommended Posts

So I've turned all the camera shake off, and the speed shake off etc etc and it still gets blury when I lock 1 or 2 wheels it shakes, or even a little bit of a slide.  Is this really a kool deal for some?  Its like to me who came up with this idea??  When I lock my real cars brakes it doesnt get blury and shake, even when sliding it around i have yet to experience eyeballs shaking all over the place.

Also what is it with the unrealistic on or off brakes?  You think after all these years they would have it figured out?

I've pointed out for years that you don't get hex/octagonal lensflares in your eyes, yet every first-person game chooses to "simulate" them because they apparently don't understand the difference between a human eye and how a camera lens works.

I think it's a classic case of adding these odd features "because you can", and not "because you should".

A lot of games do it too, as you say. I don't get why they do it, doesn't make sense to me

Either way the menu has the option to turn some of it off, which a quick add in could be applied and in reality it should be able to turn off all the nonsense of it off

You also can't drive a formula 1 car while having your eyes anywhere else than inside the cockpit, because you're required to sit in the cockpit and your head, which contains your eyeballs, is attached to the rest of your body. Still, people never use cockpit cam.

I find the cockpit cam just too low down.  In F1, that isn't a level of realism that I want.

That aside, I'd imagine even less people will use it in 2018, when there's a ruddy great halo thing in the way.
