Multiplayer TROLLS report

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I have already opened other threads talking about this, but we still have no solution. For those of us who can not join closed online leagues, due to schedule issues, playing online is a real torture.

Since F1 2017 does not have a matchmaking system based on the level of each player (please Codemasters, is it so difficult to add this?) it is common to find players whose only mission is to ruin the experience of others. And I do not mean by accident, but to repeatedly impact with each player in the race. And I think you'll all understand me when I refer to that kind of "players" who wait for you on the straights to hit you at the last moment, or they directly attack you from behind whenever they can with the sole intention of getting you off the track and laughing .

I propose to create a list of this type of players, so that others know what to expect. I can not remember more nicknames, but I'll do it from now on. These two idiots have been ruining the races of 10 people for 4 races in a row, and as I have been able to talk with other players, is their usual behavior:

- Giovannyajax
- babeljeweet

Please, we need to get this solved.
I am a player who tries to be as clean as possible, use the best fair play I can, and if we do not all do to get rid of all these trolls, the online community will be diminished. How much Codemasters has to learn from IRacing matchmaking!

And I would like to add that the system of expulsion of players in the rooms is totally ineffective. If there are 20 players in the room, for example, the need to get 10 votes is excessive. Nobody bothers to vote, and if the troll has screwed 4 or 5 players, no matter how much they all vote, it would not be enough.

Come on people, the health of the online community depends on improving all these systems, or otherwise, F1 2017 will be a game with a mediocre multiplayer.

I have already created a thread called "Rammers list" where i already listed one profile with video evidence but i gave up on it as i do not want to waste more of my time on a lost cause. Unless they implement a skill / racing behavior based, automated search system for online lobbies, nothing will change.

In my opinion the multiplayer of F1 2017 is the worst it has ever been since 2010 and not only because of the idiots driving there but also because of the bugs.
Even if you were to join a league there is a very good chance to experience race breaking bugs in there as well.
It may cause whole races to be aborted, delayed or even canceled entirely, meaning you have wasted even more of your time and nerves.

Examples:
Safety Car (one of the two main sources of problems in F1 2017 multiplayer)
  • SC being deployed every 4 laps after a crashed out player leaves the lobby
  • Constant indication that you have to pass the car ahead of you in the queue even though the order is correct
  • SC spins out on its own, maybe even crashing into you, giving you a penalty
  • Receiving a penalty when entering the pitlane under the SC even though the delta was "green"
DESYNC (second of the two main sources of problems in F1 2017 multiplayer)
  • Cars are in different positions on the track / screen of other players, causing crashes with invisible cars
  • Starting lights go out earlier for some players
  • Some cars are not even visible for other players
  • Cars sliding on the track back and forth left and right, making a safe overtaking impossible
Other known bugs
  • Constant green flag on the whole track when the formation lap is enabled
  • Delta time disappears on the lap during a SC or VSC and then reappearing again with great negative / "red" time that forces you to stop on track and even driving backwards
  • Hitting invisible walls
  • Race start with incorrect tyre compound
  • Damaged front wing is not changed when damaging it right before the pitlane entry line

All these bugs were reported already but nothing was done to prevent them.

The game has all this problems you mention above, but the worst for me are the stupid people (gamers?) who ruin the play experience.

Codemasters must do something, at least open a thread with this people nicks when they have evidence.

All of us can send links to share our gameplay when necessary.

My contribution: Baba-Corazon (2 of 3 races? versus this bad player)
https://youtu.be/76w-azZkFZQ
https://youtu.be/zvYJsE-zM5g

Last, but not least... another problem with the game, not wrong... BAD race direction decisions. Look the finish of first video and tell me how it's possible the sanction against me, the victim.

Navarreitor, first thing is that you should stop kicking on other players back. You ve done this in both videos and specially in the first one is like you are just saying “ I m gonna pass no matter how” . In addition to that you weren t  clever consideing the guy in front of you had many penalties and  you would have won the race anyway. Regarding the second video, this was completely insane...

Nope Papima, if you were right I was hit the other car with all the intention, not when they were square but when they were turning. I only was trying to make the turns as fast as I can, and perhaps you could argue that I am a bad driver. Ok, sure you are right... but never that I am a bad gamer.

These trolls are bad gamers, people who only enjoy when crashing other people races.

Another example

KuehneloCOL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uKtMU320xc (00h 48 min 00sec)

Not only hit my car, also the one of the virtual race leader. (0h 48min 40sec)

And yes Papima, you are absolutely right, perhaps I could be won the Monza's race because of the penalties against that guy... silly me

;)
