g29 wheel not registering on ps4 (dirt rally)

Recommended Posts

I have tried everything to get it to register but nothing has worked. It seems that wheels not connecting seems to be a trend for this game and that is sorry to see. Anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure your plugged into the main usb, usually nearest to disc slider. Then as you turn on ps the wheel will self calibrate.
Also make sure the little switch on top of the steering wheel is over to the right, for ps setting.

Once it does that press the ps button at the bottom of steering wheel, then X to select user, then go to menu, settings, devices, turn of device, and turn of hand set. Then you should have full control via the G29

Good luck

hmm didn't work. Oh well. I have never had a problem with a wheel on any codemaster game before whether it was on ps3, ps4 or pc. Guess this one just wasn't meant to be.

@88stix88 Made a forum account just to reply that this was great help. It might seem stupidly obvious but especially since the game doesn’t list wheels as controllers, your tip to turnoff my DualShock 4 did the trick for me. Hoping OP gets it to work out for him.
