G29 doesn't work in F1 2017

Recommended Posts

Hello,
My Logitech G29 steering wheel worked perfectly in F1. Yesterday evening when i wnated to play with my steering wheel, the game didn't recognise my wheel and i couldn't play. As the problem couldnt be solved with reinstalling the drivers/game and unplugging and plugging it back in, i ask here for help. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please help me.

Hey guys, I had the same problem with the G920.

1. Remove the logitech software.
2. Run CC Cleaner to remove the erroneous registry entries or delete them yourself. (this part is vital)
3. Restart the PC.
4. Download and install latest Logitech software. Restart again after they're installed.

It should now work.  I've had this problem twice, and this has worked both times.

I gave up waiting for Codemasters to even acknowledge this problem.

I prefer Geek Uninstaller but yes +1 to this.

Are you using the latest LGS?

Is Windows 10 up to date?

I have G29, and after patch v1.13, absolutely no problem. Windows 10 pro.

Sorry that doesn't help you , but it clearly shows this not a global issue.

I'll provide version details later.

Windows Version 1709 OS Build 16299.309

I've now updated to 16299.334, still works with no problem

Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) 8.96.88

I've now updated to (LGS) 8.96.218, still works with no problem
