f1since08 60 Posted May 3, 2018 I have a red 2012 SEAT Ibiza 1.2 S (AC), to give it its full title! It's a bit slow but it's a great size for me and the fuel economy is helpful for uni, with the air con on I'm still getting around 46MPG across a fortnight. Is it a Diesel? My previous Golf was a diesel and I got 60mpg average. The highest average I got was 70mpg, but that was conscious effort to see how high I could get it. ::wink:

You say that, yet the 3 cylinder petrol engine in mine gets me an average of 45.6. Although it does have a little turbo, and I like to accelerate hard so I can hear it :p When I'm on the motorway cruising at 70 in 6th gear though, I'm getting 80+mpg which is pretty cool. He picked me up to go see Infinity War the other night, and there was numerous times I thought we were going to crash :| I don't think there was any point where he did the speed limits. Haha I'm quite heavy footed as well. I haven't taken mine far yet (although I'm going to the IoM TT, Derbyshire and Silverstone this summer) so I don't really know what it'll do on a long run. I'd imagine mid 50s at least.

I did have a classic shape Impreza project car in mind, but I bought a house a couple of years ago, so I have been concentrating on getting that sorted and decided to keep the finished Subaru for now!
