Not my picture, but my car parked up at Goodwood last weekend!

If this is your Scooby, which it does look like yours, why is does the image not belong to you?
It's my car; I was at Goodwood for a Subaru club meet. Another club member took the picture and sent it to me, but it's his shot!

I know I've said this in the past, but I do love the these cars and the as new example that you have. I would certain love to own one as a second car, but in as new condition as yours is.

I saw one today with large scratches and with dents in all different shapes and sizes, all over the car. Either it's been in a crash, or the owner just has not looked after it. Either way, it's not in a good enough condition for my liking or wanting and I wouldn't have purchased it. It was not for sale, but if it was, I wouldn't want it. Probably was a high miler.

It was Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

Oh, I see. As long as you don't mind people taking photos of your car.

Are we talking about a Volkswagen Polo here, or a Nestle Polo?! :D
Sorry, I will get my coat...

Jokes like that should result in a permanent ban.
Fortunately for you, I have to follow the rules.
I'm sorry. It was a only joke. I mean to cause upset or harm.

You mean to cause upset or harm?

Naughty.

For some strange reason my VW Fox has today, just started to open the windows all the way down when i lock and unlock the car? Has anyone experienced a problem like this before?
Luckily they roll back up when locked if i hold the key in the door to one side, but don't want to have to do that every day :dizzy:

There is only one Z4 for me:

(I'd actually say the Z4 was a hairdressers car rather than a middle age man car!)
Bizarrely I saw one of those on the road in North Devon, UK, in black. I don't know if it was a customised road car or not, but it looked amazing. Back when I had the Supra on a trip once I was also followed by a Ferrari F355 Challenge and later followed a Lamborghini Gallardo. Neither drove quickly lol

I've started looking into buying myself a 4x4 for work, the university owns several but the paperwork required to borrow one for a field trip is insane (like 20+ pages of forms). I'm sick of it and several colleagues own their own and get on much better (only 5 or so pages of forms to take an owned vehicle into the field). So I've been to a Toyota dealer to look at a HiLux and gotta say I'm impressed, if anyone here has ever driven off road in the northern flinders or McDonnell ranges then you'd know that a very strong 4x4 with huge clearance is required. I'm thinking of the RuggedX model as it has a few things extra which might come in handy like the snorkel and winch system. Also I like the interior :) though it will probs get caked in red dust soon enough I guess. I've never owned a diesel car before but I have driven a few university vehicles that also had low range boxes like the HiLux does.

Any thoughts?

P.S. moved this here from the wrong place.

I'm very annoyed now. Was being kind to a bus driver but letting him come through past me, but accidentally caught my Golf's nearside front alloy on the kerb. Nasty chips and deep scratches. Sadly it's gone deep so a cheap scratch repair kit won't be any use. I am now going to have to pay for an alloy repair and full respray.

I never did this to my BMW, as this had higher tyre walls, so is harder to damage the alloys on it. The tyre walls on Golf are not very high and is clearly easy to damage the alloys as I've just found out. I am very upset about what's happened. :'(
