Wouldn't expect them to be allowed to say anything. I don't even think they'd have a safety car in the beta either. Would hazard a guess that its just handling and multiplayer (stability wise) they'd be testing but of course I could be wrong.

I highly doubt they'll ever get it fixed in this engine.

Safety Car has been broken for years. They fixed certain issues with and just created new ones, in an endless cycle.

To be fair, the AI issues are separate from that.

So much for the things will be better this year we are listening we will try and get answers for you. 

Maybe its a perk for buying the game, pay X amount on the game then we'll start answering a question or two.

People would like to know answers to these questions BEFORE preparing to fork out money I think it's fair and reasonable, but then again it's Codemasters F1 games.  

You can't help being skeptical especially those of us who have been here since the very day Codemasters had the F1 licence.

It should be clear for everyone that you will never get an answer from codies to a queston like "Did you fix [....]"
If anything at all, you would get a comment like "We reworked [....]" which does not answer your question. The only time you will be able to read the word "fixed" by a game developer it will be in patch-notes. And for this, the game has to be out first...

If they say: "SC in multiplayer will work perfect" people in the forums will just say "stuff like that has been said in the past - don't preorder."
If they say: "We do our best to make it work" people in the forums will say "yeah just like last year - don't preorder."

There's no right answer at the moment, so they don't answer at all, I'd guess.
I'm just assuming that SC will be in multiplayer since it was there in '17 as well. 
And the game is not yet finished, so maybe it's simply too early to answer your question.

And if you want to make sure it's working properly? Check if AOR league runs it once the leagues start. They prefer to enable it - if working properly.
