[F1 2018] Add More Informations on Steering Wheel Display

Recommended Posts

And make it more READABLE please for those people who don't play with HUD!

Like let us switch between different displays for different informations (Fuel, ERS Status, Engine and Tyre Temp, How many laps to go, Lap and sectors time, continuous delta time between cars) like we have with the MFD but on the steering wheel display. This is a must for many players, as it would add so much immersion.

So you want them to add more stuff into the same space, but also make it more readable? I suspect you can only do one or the other...

I am looking forward to , say fanatec, bringing out new wheels with large lcd screens in them for this.
fanaleds.com  (whos web page is 'not accessable' to me) might be of interest to you.

Not if you add multiple screen displays and you can switch between them like with the MFD. I think you didn't understand me... They should add multiple pages with different informations which you can switch with a button like with the MFD. It's really simple to understand...

Like page 1: Fuel information
page 2: Tyre information
page 3: Lap information
page 4: ERS and Engine information
page 5: Delta time

I ask for this since 2014 when the LCD was introduced in most of the teams. In the last year they added tyre and engine temp, but I think delta time and fuel load are much more useful.
Multiple screens like the MFD would be perfect.

The Screen is perfectly readable if you are in cockpit camera - and if you aren't - Use the HUD, that's what it is there for
Well this depends on several factors, like your actual screen size, camera settings and so on... The digits are too small if you set your camera to see your mirrors.

I adjust the camera settings to see the mirrors and can read it perfectly in a 40” TV, for smaller screens may be more difficult.

Multiple MFD screens on the steering wheel would be exactly what cockpit cam is missing IMO.
