DiRTKiNG808
Good for you man! I am super jealous. I wonder if Red Bull's pace is real or if Ferrari and Mercedes are sand bagging. I hope Ferrari are because they need a win this weekend to keep the beats at bay over at Plant Mercedes in Sector Hamilton.
Hughesy
Well after all the kinky stuff you bought @MBKF1 If the tracks becomes slippery because of some substance on the track we'll know who to blame.
couger1981
Hamilton was complaining about tyre buildup in FP2 and he couldn't get the tyres switched on, so hopefully Mercedes isn't sandbagging and they really are struggling with tyres.

Tbh, if he did it from the front, he could've at least caused a meme pile up.Also, watching F2 right now and Gelael absolutely smashed himself. Also, Markelov has balls. Balls kid. Balls. DiRTKiNG808
Wow! That lap from Ricciardo was dynamite! Well done to him. Thankfully Max is starting at the back so he won’t ruin any of the championship contenders race at the front of the grid. And Leclerc is way more talented then Ericsson, he really does out preform his team mate. Also glad that a Ferrari is in front of a Mercedes, please have good strategy on Sunday Ferrari, please. Hughesy
Vettel proper squirted his juice into the princess of Monaco @RevolvingPrawn No it was after the restart, at the corner before the hairpin, he almost parked it where Rosberg went. It was a full on 4 wheel drift around the corner.

Moderator f1since08 Posted May 27, 2018 Moderator Share Posted May 27, 2018 That was actually a really good race! Brilliant drive from Ricciardo but I suspect he'll be getting a gearbox penalty at the next race.Awful direction throughout though, you can tell it's not the FOM director. RevolvingPrawn
She looked a little bit annoyed about being sprayed lol. And that fake drink of the champagne (can't blame her though, I wouldn't have touched it either).Oh right, yea I deffo missed that. I kinda saw him going slowly through there, but I was looking at Ricciardo and praying that Vandoorne didn't run into him at the hairpin.
VetteIfan
Feel like Ferrari and Mercedes let Red Bull off the hook today. Two stop was the way to go, not sure Ricciardo would've held back cars going 3-4 seconds a lap quicker with low power. That said, I'm glad Ricciardo won because he deserved it. Hughesy
The current team is a disgrace to the Williams name. When I was growing up they were the team, they had the best designers, best engineers and best drivers, now they have none of that. We all knew they were going to be rubbish with the current drivers, but the shockingly poor results aren't solely the drivers fault. They are just terrible. Also McLaren, it's becoming very clear Honda weren't completely to blame for the lack of pace. Not sure what Alonso is going to do next year, but it's such a waste of talent, he should be fighting for championships. He's already out driving the cars pace, because Vandoorne isn't a bad driver and is nowhere near as quick.

I'm hoping that Alonso ditches F1 next season to spearhead a full season of IndyCar for a new McLaren IndyCar team. That way if Norris wins the F2 championship he can jump straight in to the McLaren and get a couple seasons experience before either McLaren can get back to the front, or whichever teams are at the front sign him up. And it also means Alonso actually has a chance of winning a championship.

Moderator MBKF1 Posted May 28, 2018 Author Moderator Share Posted May 28, 2018 Can't post much right now because I'm being charged for data for some silly reason (I thought it was included in my usual allowance), so posting from a cafe with WiFi.But oh man, what a weekend. I'll write a full report when I'm back home at the weekend, but it was great. Brilliant grandstand view on Saturday of all the crashes at the swimming pool (Verstappen, Galael in F2), got a selfie with Felipe Massa by absolute fluke too. Then yesterday having lunch and wine at the Café de Paris... AMAZING! Our friend who works there put our table right near the circuit too. Can't tell you how fortunate I feel.Girlfriend enjoyed it too which is a bonus, she'd never watched F1 before but she loved it!Photos to come soon I promise! DiRTKiNG808
I thought that Monaco was a pretty good race and that it was better then Spain. There were times during Monaco that I was actually a little bit nervous. Ricciardo defiantly deserved that win. Lets hope we can get back to some great action in Canada. ImDyingYouIdiot
I must've suffered a stroke midway through the race, 'cos the people calling it a decent one is quite astonishing.Sure, Danny's engine problem was a headache, but only for a few laps. As soon as it was clear that it's not going to get worse, it was pretty clear who was going to win.Yeah, Seb was faster, so what? Kimi was quicker than Lewis, Bottas quicker than Kimi. This is Monaco. You can win the race in a fucking Nissan Micra as long as you start on pole. It's an old, outdated track, and it has no place in a modern F1 calendar. That being said, I have to admit, it was hilarious watching the Williams pair essentially disintegrate. DiRTKiNG808
Instead of getting rid of awesome classic tracks they should ax Monaco and put in a Grand Prix Cuircut. No more street cuircuts.
