Play the game, get through event then... HANGS

When the game works it's great fun, bit I go through and complete events and her the targets I then choose the next event and 7 out to f ten times it hangs and I have to restart .
Once I do, I've lost at everything and have to start again. 
As said, it's a fun game, but this issue is annoying beyond belief. 
It also happens when I try and open a box .
