Youtube gameplay videos and monetization - Official Statement ?

Hello,

does anybody know if there is an official statement from Codemaster regarding videos of there games on YouTube or other video channels and their monetization ?

And in the case if not, it would be nice if someone of the officials from Codemasters bring clearness to that and add these infos to the FAQ.

I have a small channel on YT and its always the best way to get permission from the developers before uploading something. That would prevent to get banned

If YouTube auto smacks you with any kind of content copyright stuff just hit dispute and let us know, we'll take a look at it for you. 

But you should be fine :)

What about F1 games, isn't that licensed from the FIA.

I can confirm its not us who have placed the copyright claim. Oddly its not effecting everybody and just a small number of youtubers are having it crop up. Best thing to do would be to submit a dispute with Lenok LTD while we try look into it

Yeah, I have a lot of other F1 2014 videos online without any trouble. This one has "coincidence" written all over it, but I directed Youtube to the link above, so hopefully that'll sort it.

Either that, or I'll delete it, change it a little, and upload it again.

Hey, I got a copyright claim on one of my Let's Play Overlord: Raising Hell videos today (the video was what I launched my channel with almost two months ago, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6MXXQdZdn0 ) from CodemastersGames.

I'm disputing the claim citing your video policy (http://blog.codemasters.com/codemasters-video-policy/) but I wanted to know if this was actually legitimate or someone trying to claim your game content.
