F1 2018 classic cars/circuits

Recommended Posts

Hey Cody, can't wait for the new F1 game! You said that you wanted to know which cars we'd like to see added to the classic car selection this year? I'd love to see...

1997 Benetton Renault
1997 Jordan Peugeot
2004 BMW Williams
1972 Lotus
1976 McLaren
Fangios Ferrari

I would LOVE the option of a few classic tracks too (if I'm not being too greedy) and I'd love to have the...

1990's Hockenheim circuit
Estoril
Classic Nordschleife

I know i'm dreaming.....

Thanks!

Cars:
Brawn GP
1997 Jordan
2010 Renault
2007 BMW Sauber
1988- 1997 Benetton (doesnt matter wich year)
The six wheeler Tyrrell from the 70's
2002 Williams
1997 Lola

They had classic tracks in f1 2013, why not in 2018?

Classic Hockenheim
Adelaide
Imola
90's Kyalami
Long Beach
Magny-Cours
Zandvoord

Instead cars and tracks i would love to see classic championship years.
Like 1997, with all tracks, teams, drivers, point system and rules.
That would be great.

They had a survey a few weeks ago in which it looked to me they plan to add the classic tracks as a DLC. About the classic cars, Lee Mather stated yesterday, that the current ones from F1 2017 will stay and more will be announced after E3.

Probably you are right, they'll add few new cars and the rest will be paid dlc.Couple of months ago there was a survey in which few of the questions were were you interested in buying a dlc and what should it consists cars, tracks etc.

I would like a full grid of classic cars on one season - 1995 for example. Benetton, jordan, Tyrell, heck even the Forte!

I'd like to see all the circuits they've had in previous F1 games. Seems a waste to have them mostly modelled but not accessible because they aren't in the current season. We've pretty much had to put up with win some/lose some every year which is really lame.

Hey, Codies  - Jordan 1998 and BAR 2000
As circuits - would love to race Imola and Estoril, maybe the old layout for Hockenheim

hoping for the track of my country! ESTORIL, or even Algarve/Portimao !

Let's just all hope this doesn't turn into an EA / Activision where everything you want is behind LOOT BOXES

Basically there MIGHT be another DLC to come. They've made a survey before this years release, asking if players would be willing to pay for more classic content like additional cars and tracks. That still gives me hope. As they might will bring out F1 2019 as a patch for this years game, they could include this there

I'd imagine most people said no, so I wouldn't hold your breath. Most of us would much rather just pay for a complete game up front.

TBH I have no interest in added buys for games, I no longer buy WWE because I refuse to pay double the game price for an increased roster of legends who should come as standard IMHO. BUT.. For the Jaguar, Toyota, Buzzin' Hornets Jordan, Benetton B195 I really would, I'd push past Kate Upton to get to my wallet for that DLC! Added circuits, Magny Cours, Nurbergring, any, I love all the circuits!
