F1 2018 pc system requirements

Recommended Posts

Same engine so it should be about the same, maybe a tiny bit more demanding due to new weather effects, lighting, and foliage textures. Although expect some issues at launch, as with every game. (microstuttering, a crash or 2, etc.)

Not sure will the CPU handle the game. If I wouldn't report issues with that CPU in 2017 Beta, it wouldn't have worked with the game. I have upgraded my system, so dunno will it work. It's a problem with Phenom's (and older AMD CPU's) architect. Let's hope that it will work tho!

It will run, just at lower settings. You might not have the best looking of graphics but it will play.

You'll probable be able to find a better cpu for your mobo. Just troll through eBay.

I was wondering the same. I've got 16GB ram, gtx 1060 6gb and an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 which plays F1 2017 fine, so hoping that the same for 2018?

Use this website... although it doesn't have F1 2018 you can check other games that are probably much more demanding and gives you a User-Friendly view of how well you either don't meet, meet or exceed the Minimum and Recommended requirements.

You should be sweet with that setup. Mines quite similar, apart from I've got an Intel cpu.
Good to know! Only fairly recently upgraded from what was a god awful setup and seeing as I can play '2017 no problem I didn't want the leap to 2018 to be huge! Only games I'm interested in really at the minute are this and Battlefield V so praying both run fine  :D

With a Ryzen 5 1600 and not a Ryzen 5 2600x, how much of a knock will I get from that or won't it really matter?

I have the exact same question... I can play every game on recommended with the ryzen 5 1600 cpu but now the only game I actually care about needs more... I'm guessing Medium to High will be good enough...

Got my rig in January Ryzen 5 1500x with gtx 1060. Plays 2017 easily with a bit of headroom on max abit gutted to see that now barely scrapes recommended settings!
