why isnt f1 2018 available for pre-order yet? + is my pc good enough

Recommended Posts

other sports games like fifa are already available for pre order and dont come out till late september ish.

before anyone says "bigger budget" NHL 19 is already available for pre-order but isnt coming out until september 14th (3 days early if you pay extra) and they have a tiny budget compared to other EA titles..

another thing, im new to PC gaming, switching from console and wondering if my PC can handle f1 2018. I have a GTX 1060 3 gb, ryzen 3 1200 cpu 8 gb of ram and play on a 1080p monitor, its a 144hz monitor. I dont expect to hit anywhere near 144 fps with good settings but just thought i'd point it out. my goal would be to hit anywhere between 70 - 100 fps or just a very stable 60 fps

Are you in the U.S.? I only found it for PS4 + Xbox One available for Pre-Order
I found it available for Pre-Order on Amazon, I have Amazon Prime but I don't think it matters... I Pre-Ordered it a week ago, and it will be delivered right on the release day.

However, I did find these for PC. From the UK Tho....

Also as for your PC specifications I use this website all the time it makes it very clear to see what you're missing and what you need, although they may not have 2018, you can go off F1 2017 they'll probably be the same anyway, or find a game like GTA 5 that requires a lot more power...

yeah chances are if you can run 201 7on your system you can run 2018. I know I can run 2017 just fine on my system so I'm not worried about 2018.

Should run fine in atleast high settings, the 3gb might max out on ultra though. I have a 1060 6 gig ryzen 1500x and can max out graphics with mostly 60fps locked apart from the odd dip. So much faster and better than the console version.
If you want fps you just lower settings but I like the bells and whistles.

Hey!
The beta testers have been selected some time ago. Codemasters will say if they need more testers.
Here you can find the now closed BETA FAQ: http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/132558/the-f1-beta-thread-and-faq
