G27 Not detected on F1 2017

Recommended Posts

So, I have Logitech G27 that I'm trying to use on F1 2017 (version 1.13) on Windows 7, game is bought through Steam.
The wheel worked fine before, then I had to reinstall the game after having a bug that makes all the sounds disappear. After this reinstall the game hasn't detected the wheel a single time.
I'm gonna list here things that I have tried for fixing this:
- Restarted the game and computer, unplugged and plugged back wheel
- Made sure Windows is fully updated
- Verified integrity of game files through Steam
- Reinstalled Logitech Gaming Software and the wheel drivers
- Tried plugging in different USB-ports
- Uninstalled Geforce Experience (some people said this causes problems)
- Reinstalled the game
- Uninstalled all Logitech software and driver related things
- Ran the Logitech WheelDriverCleaner
- Completely reinstalled everything Logitech related
- Lastly of course rebooted and ran the game
After all of this, nothing. The game does not recognize the wheel. If I go to settings > control schemes, I can see the control scheme I saved and used before when it worked, but I can't use it since the game doesn't detect the wheel.
The wheel works perfectly on other games (such as Live for Speed and Euro Truck Simulator 2) and the game (F1 2017) recognizes my Dualshock 3 controller which I connect with ScpToolkit.
I'm really frustrated and losing all of my hope. I want to play the game but apparently the game doesn't want me to play it.
I wonder if it worked if I reinstalled Windows, but I'm not going for that, games are supposed to work without reinstalling operating systems.
I really appreciate if anyone has any fixes I could try, I really enjoyed playing the game as long as it worked.
Also, if you need any additional information, just ask. I will give you whatever information it takes to fix this problem.
