F1® 2018 – Supported Wheels And Controllers

Hi I am considering purchasing F1 2018, but I have a question about the Fanatec CSR Forza Wheel, which I own. It  is not a Fanatec CSR Elite wheel though which is the one shown in the list above showing the "Supported Wheels and Controllers". Is the list "specific" or does it imply all CSR Wheels and or elite pedals, which I also own? I would be using the wheel in PC mode.

Regards

Hi,

I would like to suggest that CodeMasters consider supporting HID USB keyboard as secondary input device for F1 2018 on Xbox One. I am using a steering wheel and pedals to play the game - but there is a very small number of buttons to map to different functions in the game. Microsoft already support this function!

Other games such as Project Cars2 on Xbox One support this. So you can map as many functions as you have keys on the 2nd USB keyboard controller....

Plus you can also then use 3rd party add-ons like this (which just emulate a HID USB keyboard)...

http://simracinghardware.com/product/thrustmaster-tmx-pro-dashboard-xbox-one-edition/

http://simracinghardware.com/product/sbb2-button-box-xbox-one-edition/

http://simracinghardware.com/product/sbb1-button-box-xbox-one-edition/

Or for cheap 'button boxes' you can use a USB Numpad from eBay... with stickers over the keys...

It would also help to be able to map ALL the engine fuel maps (LEAN, STD, RICH, MAX) and all ERS modes (none, low, med, high, overtake, hotlap) etc... to keyboard keys of course!

Thanks

Why the tyres pressure it's always wrong in the replay? it's always like it was low...even if iset it higher!

Fanatec has recently released and started shipping their new ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 2018. You (Codemasters) also had in November a “raffle” of sorts for that wheel so you are clearly aware of it and working with fanatec.

Are you / when are you planning on updating the supported wheels to maximise all the functionality on this wheel?

Any / all feedback appreciated!

Hi,
I've got a question for the codemasters theme. Can you work at the Ferrarie's? I mean that they have their mission stickers at the back, at the end of the season, and they have the same on the wheel, so can you work this in the game?

I use a keyboard on ps4 as a button box. Don't understand where is your problem to do it.

The game detects my wheel and also my keyboard and on settings I can link wheel buttons or keyboard keys to any of the available actions.

Good morning
I noticed that on f12018 for ps4 the wheels shown in the picture are not selectable for customizing the game settings.

The steering wheel is the model ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2

Will there be updates in this regard?
Will it be implemented soon?
Thank you
