Controller settings . PS4

This is my first F1 game.  I am on PS4.  Is there a tutorial for F1 2018 and what are the settings for the Dualshock controller?  What buttons do what?
Sorry for the dumb questions but this is really frustrating to me.

Controller settings. There is preset 1 and preset 2. Preset 2 is the one most people use. Left stick is for steering, Right stick is accelerate and braking. It is VERY confusing trying to work out the buttons after that!

Must appreciated!  It has been pretty frustrating to say the least.  I need to invest in a steering wheel.
