DiRT Showdown may have been removed from RaceNet, but it's coming to the arcades!!

Just came across Sega's new arcade racing game, in association with Codemasters Racing, called SHOWDOWN: http://arcadeheroes.com/2014/10/31/sega-officially-unveils-showdown/

Looks like a reworked DiRT Showdown, without the gymkhana. Probably ideal for arcades, if less so for DiRT rally racing fans!

This follows the arcade version of GRID, which Codemasters did previously.

It's currently running in the Codies Canteen and I can confirm its awesome fun.

Having recently tried Showdown (and Grid2/Grid Autosport), I think Showdown is pretty perfect for an arcade, as might a customised version of Grid2, if Sega were up for that!

Autosport feels more the spiritual sequel to the ToCA Race Driver series, so is less arcadey. IMHO.
