[BUG] I cant fully fuel car prior to race (Baku)

Recommended Posts

It will only let me put 67 kg's into the tank prior to a 100% race, can't for the life of me think why.
I've just given it a go, on lean, and through a safety car, and was still dropping laps.
I thought it might be because the Fuel Management test was done in the rain - but then I remembered it wasn't, that was the ERS one....
Any idea's? - I don't want to skip the race, 1 because its one of my favourites, and 2, Im actually competitive there. I also dont want to have to start the career again!
The previous 3 races have been absolutely fine.

Thanks in advanced,
Simon

Mclaren...its very strange. I've actually just simulated the first 3 races with a new driver to see if it happened again, it was fine.
Then reloaded my actual career, same problem again.
Did you find a fix at Bahrain?
I have a feeling I'm either going to have to skip it, or start again - might start again and up the AI, 103% in races isn't quite high enough, but pro career scares me haha

Cheers

I've got the same problem with my 50% race in Hungary. Something strange happened with the Race Strategy Programme in one of the practice sessions, which caused it to register no fuel usage. Which means your engineer thinks you don't need that much fuel. Now at the starting grid of the GP of Hungary (at my career), it says I can take a maximum of 27,7 KG of fuel with me for 35 laps. I cannot revert the race weekend, so I have to retire somewhere in the race. Meaning I will retire at the beginnen of the race, as there's no point in running the race at all...

My question: why can't we take the maximum of fuel with us which is stated in the official FIA F1 regulations? The regulations say you can take a maximum of 105 KG with you for a 100% race. I would then say that a maximum for a 50% race is 55 KG (bit more than the actual 50% as the amount of laps is rounded up).

Im glad its not just me - I mean that in the nicest way possible!  :D
I guess I'll start a new one, annoying.

Agreed with the above - the practice programs should work as an estimate for our use, so we can decided what level to take...it would eliminate this problem.
There should at least be a way to restart the race weekend if this does happen again, instead of either retiring from the session, or simply starting again, that seems a bit silly.

That is the problem of the infinty fuel glitch. So the practice programm calculation is wrong cause of it.
There is a other tread about this glitch.
