Suspension geometry

Front toe goes from (left) 0.05 to (right) 0.15, I've been reading that having it closer to left 0.05 increases straight line speed but why on the 'maximum top speed standard setup' would it be furthest to the right at 0.12 if that reduces straight line speed? Also for camber many ppl have it set further to the right which reduces grip? If anyone has time to explain why it would be much appreciated?
