F1 2018 - Brakes are not recognized by the car

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, since a few days I am encountering an issue which is pretty much game braking (haha. ha. ha.). When I am in the calibration menu, my brakes are recognized properly but as soon as I am on the track, about the first 30% of my brakes are not recognized by the car.
I am playing on PC, using the Fanatec Clubsport Pedals v3 but I have the same issue on my controller when braking. I have no deadzone for the brakes. In F1 2017 as well as in other racing games everything is fine. So it has to be game specific I guess. It worked peferctly fine until one of the latest updates.
I already tried to re-install the game, the wheel and pedal driver. I have also changed USB ports, set new control configurations but nothing won't help. So I would like to ask if anyone else is having similar issues.

Thank you very much in charge!

Just tested this myself (CSP v3i) and it is correct that in the HUD there is no brake indication until 31%. However, the brake itself seems to be working. At least the car gets a lot slower when I hit the brake at around 25% versus just lifting the throttle pedal. So the brake itself seems to be working, just the HUD indication is broken...

I saw your video on YT this morning. Looks like it's only on PC, I have tested it on PS4 - no problem!
