"Winnie Harlow Bug" in Online Official Race

Yes, somehow the game has decided that the Race was over.. notwithstanding we were at lap 44 of  71! :D

We were in live streaming and the situation became quite funny, fortunately that was only a Preseason race, but this can be a really messing up bug during the season.

As you can see, at lap 43 of the race Rai_Man7 (who suffered a game crash during the Q3 session and rejoined the lobby) passes the finish line and the game gives him chequered flag..
He was not leading the race, and nobody in front or behind him took the same flag befor the leading driver got the chequered flag too.

At that point the race was over.


I think he suffered of a bug in the session time, since at the very end you can see his "delay" from first exploding up to 62 minutes and more! :|

So, counting up a mean lap time of 1.20 secs (considering the pit stop too) and the 44 laps done (total 80 secs * 44 laps = 3520 secs = few more than 58 minutes), i'm quite sure that he took chequered flag for exceeding the 2 hours time limit for the race.

This is a problem, because it make risky to allow drivers to rejoin a lobby if this is a possible result of that operation.

I add some time stamps for clue moments so you can take a look easier.

19:30  --  TF1-Alonso's game crashes during Q3 session. No message appears in the live to warn about the disconnection of the driver from the lobby. The driver tried to rejoin sessione, and when he did the game told him the session was over, while others where still in the middle of Q3 session. He was back in his car for the formation lap.

32:10 -- During the loading of the race session, finally the message related to TF1-Alonso disconnection are shown (notice that the message appears twice. No rejoining message has appeared)

40:40 --  Rai_Man7's game crashes during the race, causing a dangerous situation on track while the game was realizing what was happening.

42:25 --  Rai_Man7 rejoins the lobby. At this point, while in the live streaming everything seems perfect, the driver from his point of view has totally wrong timings. He reported to have delays from cars around him of something like 64 minutes. :|

1:32:09 --  Rai_Man7 crosses the line at lap 43. His race end with the chequered flag while he was in P10. Others behind him cross the finish line but the first driver to be stopped by the game is the one in P1, when he crosses the line at start of lap 44. Everybody else behind him end his race at that point, resulting in Rai_Man7 losing a lap on everyone else.

1:32:42  --  As clearly visible from the spectator graphics, as Daddo1797 crosses the line, the delay of Rai_Man7 from him got updated to 62 minutes and more.. The same that Rai_Man7 had from his point of view.

On a 1 hour 37 min video you may wanna put time stamps on those.. Pretty sure no one has time to watch the whole stream to find a bug somewhere lol

It's at the end, obviously. The clue is in the bug itself.

Like @Ho3n3r  said, i did not put timestamps of the bug since i think it is easy to find it out.. :/

Anyway, i will update the first post with them so for codies it will be easier to take a look at it ;)

Please focus on this cause it can cause several bugs in online lobbies everytime someone suffers a crash of the game or a disconnection.

The early race end is just the top of the iceberg, there are also other problems. For example some drivers never got messages for penalties, pit line approaching, corner cut, etc.. even if they got penalised they have no idea what was happening. :o :/
