G29 missing menu "Maximum Wheel Rotation" in options

Recommended Posts

Other users of G29 have a menu to set maximum wheel rotation
From this video @0:47 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C33DhFkJtFE
and this video  @0:34 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guki7cRyo-8

In my game it is not there, ther is no option for Maximum wheel rotation at all:

Becuase of this I have to change wheel sensitivity whcih leads to worse driving experience of course.
Other games like Assetto Corsa and Live For Speed work perfect. The logitech Gaming Software is installed and runs in the backgorund, showing the picture of my G29. Logitech firmware shows as up to date: 89.0.25. My PC is win10 64bit,16gb, 1080ti, all newest updates installed, 1.09 game version although it was like this from the release day.
PS I do not own Project Cars 2 - some people suggest it can mess up FFB settings :)

Reading comments under the videos above, it now seems that I am not the only one, its a common problem.
Also I found that my options interface is different to those people whos G29s are fully recognised by the game (i.e. those who have "maximum wheel rotation" option available).
The paddles on the wheel show as paddles  in the control options for them, but in my case - my I have "L1" and "R1" instead. It's like the game thinks my wheel is a joypad, although it does call it G29 and the wheel has FFB - basically everything but the "maximum wheel rotation" is working.
Fully recognised G29(note the paddle shift icons):
