About the Supercar Fiesta, maybe note it is the OMSE Fiesta MK7 facelift. I expect the new OMSE Fiesta MK8 (the new car being raced by OMSE in the World RX) also to be feutured. Unfortunately no M-Sport Fiesta as the Nitiss livery is also on the OMSE version.
Just adding car marks now, I also have the Golf to tweak!

I think it will go in the RGT class together with the Porsche 911 RGT so you can participate in te RGT class without getting the Porsche pre-order bonus.

We'll get "over 50 cars" according to the same page I linked. Unknown whether that's 51 or 59 (probably closer to 51), but it gives us somewhat of a target when counting cars. :)

Yeah, with no hillclimb cars the RGT class seems the most logical home for the car, doesn't it?

I spotted several different liveries as well @JorritVD, I am assuming that, like previous games, each car will be a single model with various liveries applied (but no technical differences).

@tbtstt A bit strange than though, as there is a new Polo RX made. And for me the differences between the Fiestas are the same as between the Marklund and PS Polo. I can understand that there is a limit of resources and make a decision, and than it is quite logical that the priority goes to make the factory cars (as it looks like DiRT also has a partnership with VW / VAG) and the Privateer Fiesta therefore get less priority. Still, the Fiesta R5 and WRC have been made, so it not would cost many resources to make the Nitiss, MJP, STARD Fiesta.

I'm curious to know how different the models will be between Marklund/PSRX Polos: I assume that CM will have done things properly and produced a new car with everything up front (and revised handling).

The blog posts mentions that the cars are as per the 2018 season, I wonder if the Megane RS RX will make an appearance?

It could also be license stuff. They couldn't add the Audi in the past as it wasn't a factory car back then. Maybe the same applies now with the new Fiesta's?
Yeah, that's a good point. I understand there is a (possibly vague) works connection between OMSE and Ford, but it's possible that could be an issue.

With the Audi S1 in WRX Supercars, there could also be an Audi in S1600
Fingers crossed! I saw the A1 of Rokas Baciuska in Loheac and I thought it looked fantastic on track.

Incidental detail but, having looked at the still images again last night, I noticed that the EKS S1 is modelled on the 2018 specification car, like the PSRXVW Polo.

H2 FWD was the Peugeot 205 class from D4, right?

So, over 50 cars = 51

So if we take D4, there were 52 Rally and RX cars. I'd expect RX numbers to be similar, probably will lose a couple (Mini, Focus) and gain a couple (A1, Mégane, i20); let's say a net gain of 1 or 2 maybe.

Other new cars to the series we already know:
- Citroen C3 R5
- VW Polo R5
- VW Golf
- Porsche 911 RGT
- Chevrolet Camaro GT4R

We'll probably lose a couple of the R5s to make way for the newer ones (hopefully we keep the Fiesta and i20), but it wouldn't surprise me if that was pretty much the car list. Even a net gain of 3 rally cars would push us into "over 50" territory and some will need saving for DLC (come on Fabia R5).

With those numbers, I'm just hoping we keep most of the roster from D4. Don't get me wrong, if they want to hold a class back to refine them for a post-launch release, I'm happy with that.

Oh, one minor request: please, for the love of gods, put the Stratos back with the Escort and 131 where it belongs.

I would hope the Fabia R5 makes it in the base game. It's pretty much the most popular R5 car ever. I would also hope they keep the Peugeot 208.

You and me both, but recent history isn't very favourable for Codemasters' ability to acquire Skodas, so I won't hold my breath. That said, good work getting Citroen back onboard, we know that was difficult in D4.
Yes, I liked the fact that the Citroen name appeared again. I'm just disappointed by the fact that even older gen (not 2017) WRC cars won't be there. I can only hope.

I would rather have 2 or 3 extra early era WRC cars over more R5's as that's my absolute favorite era. We only have a 2001 Focus WRC and a 2001 Impreza WRC in DR & D4, but for the R5 class we have the Polo and C3 confirmed and they'll probably add the Fiesta, I20 and 208 again (if licensing allows).

If they can add the Peugeot 206, SEAT Córdoba and Citroën Xsara (or any of the others) we'll have 5 R5's and 5 early WRC's.

I wouldn't mind the early 1.6 liters too, before they became "boosted".

The Mégane and i20 supercars are very unlikely.
Why do you say that?
I’m sure I read somewhere that there was a ‘full 2018 wrx lineup’? In which case they should be there
Well, I could understand why @Oscar97, say it. Because the Audi not was in DR and D4. On the other side we saw a Renault Super 1600, JRM MINI Countryman, Munnich SEAT Ibiza, and the Solberg DS3, all cars which not had factory support.

My expected Supercars cars list down below here. Though it likely that some cars are part of DLC.

Confirmed (3x)
Audi Sport S1 EKS
Volkswagen Polo R (Solberg)
Ford Fiesta Rallycross (OMSE MK7 facelift)

Not confirmed but expected (8x)
Peugeot 208 WRX - only factory team not has been seen yet in DR2.0
Citroën DS3 - Car model already exists and has been entered in WRX, ERX and ARX
Volkswagen Polo Rallycross (Marklund) - Car model already exists and has been entered in WRX and ERX
Seat Ibiza RX - Car model already exists and has been entered in WRX, ERX and ARX
Ford Fiesta ST RX (OMSE MK8) - The OMSE build MK7 and RX2 are already in the game
Mini Cooper - Bennett has entered his car in both WRX and ARX and the Countryman had been in DR and D4.
Hyundai i20 - GRX/Set team has some support from Hyundai, and i20 R5 is in D4
GCK Megane RS - Maybe the biggest question mark of the new cars, but Prodrive and Renault cars have been feutured before in the DiRT series.

Possible (3x)
Ford Focus RS RX - ARX car, part of support series / dlc, car model exists.
VW Beetle - There is the ARX factory car and ERX Eklund version. So possible part of support series / dlc.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI (2018) - Factory car. A lot of Impreza versions have been feutured in DiRT.

I really really hope the Lancer Evo is not cut. I don't think it was used much in D4 but that was due to it was and understeering mess. I want to use it in a game that do it justice!
I don't think D4 usage is a useful measure of car popularity at all given how many either didn't agree with the new physics or had screwy difficulty.

I was wondering about the DS3, as it hasn't been seen much in the WRX and ERX this year. Oliver Solberg is supposed to be driving in a World round this year (I suspect South Africa), so I wonder if "his" DS3 will be in the game.

I would think the Marklund Polo and Seat Ibiza will be back as both have been 2018 WRX & ERX season regulars.

The Countryman hasn't been seen all year. JRM sold the whole programme on but, thus far, those cars haven't returned to the track yet, I don't expect to see them in the game.

The Bennett Mini would be a nice addition, but I am more excited by the GRX i20 and GCK Megane (especially the Megane, I really hope that makes it into the game).

They aren't factory teams. That may not be a problem for the i20, but the Méganes didn't even have Renault badges prior to the Latvian round, which means Renault probably doesn't want to acknowledge them. Or at least didn't want to.

From what I have picked up there are other factors at play there.

GRX aren't a works team but there is at least a connection with Hyundai (via Hyundai Motorsport).
