Seems to be Wahanga Coast reverse to me. Feeling is different with sea on the left ;)

A question, im from Córdoba, Argentina. Im dissapointed because i found that Rally Argentina in 2.0 is based in "Catamarca province"(its at north of argentina) and not in "Cordoba Province" as in real life. I mean, its like Rally Spain being held in Madrid and not Catalunya. Its because the license? License to a state or province? I would prefer no to mention any province and just the country. And i think that the other rallies are wrong too. 
For real rally fans i think its not just a simple detail

It seems to be the same for all locations. And if that’s the price to pay for having these great stages, it’s a small one indeed IMO.

I think they're doing that to cover their backs in case some rally organisers tell them they're trying to cash in on their rally without paying them anything.

Makes me wonder what sort of hoops they have to go through if they were to port the DR stages to 2.0 Moving Monte to France? (Which is technically where the stage is anyway)
It can be tricky considering DR had probably the most iconic rally stages in it. Outside of Greece maybe, that one won't be that much of a problem I think

Yes, that's a problem. Would be weird having Monte Carlo stages located in the Pyrenees, for example. They already moved iconic stages like El Condor, so that's likely to happen anyway.

I dont mind at all about location names. The game will say Hawkes Bay but mentally I know I'll be in Raglan.
Its far more important the stages are as realistic as possible - that's why I still harp on about the raglan gravel colour every other week  :D

The stages in DR and SLRE could be called Stupid Stage 1, Boring Stage 2, GPS Based Stage 3, etc... for all I care. Once you're driving who cares what it's called.

Just getting on the buzz and watching Ogier's onboard of Whaanga Coast from 2010. The first half is the half we haven't seen footage of yet. Not as tight as the coastal half of the stage - open flowing and fast.

I still don't know what the codriver meant by 28 long specials for 12 Rallies...

It can't be counting reverses, otherwise the number would have to be 48 at least. But otherwise there are 4 stages more than calculated.

The countries have to be DR + DR2, doubt they would have completely new locations ready for recording that early.

DR has 12 long stages.

Would mean 4 locations have 3 long stages in the end?

Knowing El condors length now (2x8km), I would hope for a 3rd of Argentina, covering the famous river ford.

NZ, Poland, Spain, have around 30km each. Australia and New England look long too.

Leaves 3 Bonus-stages for 3 DR1 locations..., no?

I would hope for:

long Vineyard stage for Germany

long Great Orme tarmac stage of Wales

land either more dry tarmac for Monte or more snow for Sweden

@SkyRex I'm 99% sure Argentina will just be the El Condor stage - although official confirmation would be nice.

That number is indeed intriguing, although it could well just be a mistake and he meant 24. 

Hopefully Codemasters will actually let us know soonish.

(On the off chance you're correct about an extra stage for old locations, I hope Wales' wouldn't be Great Orme but would be more forest-y like Clocaenog or part of Myherin)

I would like to see that Argentina stage with the famous river pass as one of the bonus.
Another one would be Bunnings stage in Australia, although unlikely.
Then I'd like to see Margram's Park stage in Wales, the famous Wales end where Sainz's Toyota broke.
And finally I'd like pretty much to have Sisteron stage from Monte Carlo, or any other from the base.

I wouldn't mind replacing one of the existing stages of Germany with a vineyards stage. 1 Panzerplatter stage is  enough.

Gartheiniog and Myherin would be my picks for Wales. Margam park is a bit dull (that may be because of years spectating there, miles away from the stage itself compared to the forest stage areas)
Gartheiniog is a perfect length stage with great vistas, fast sections and tight hairpin/technical sections too.
Myherin is fast and offers superb variety with the open sections.

This. There are a lot of better choice of mid-Wales stage. Hafren that they have already is the epitome, but Gartheinog is a great shout; one of my favourites to spectate at - Myherin would work too, I thought that's what DiRT 4's Welsh 'moorland' was based on.

Margam Park was more for the feels. The blown Toyota Corolla that dumped Sainz's championship, and when Petter Solberg won with his Subaru in 2003 vs Loeb. It would be interesting to have the stage where Colin crashed in 2001 as well. Many people would remember that curb and be cautious when passing there lol

I was lucky enough to be at the finish line for Burns' magnificent championship win in 2001 and also for petters in 03. But it's the real life stories that make Margam relevant. Its very far down my list. McRae crashed on Rhondda I believe. 
Those old mid Wales stages are ok, the 3 R' s of Rhondda, Rheola and Resolfen were decent but I feel, for me at least, that Gartheiniog and Myherin are better stages to drive through regularly.

Argentina has two long stages; we've seen both already - 1 that Jon did with the Escort on Stream, the other (in the other direction) of the 555 Impreza ascending from the other side. You can tell from the checkpoints. They'll be about 8.5km each by my reckoning.

I'm still thinking DLC seasons will be themed. The first one will expand the rally and the second will expand the rallycross. Now, what's curious is that they have six months of post-launch support already planned and it says in the Deluxe edition details that's you'll have access to the first two seasons of content. Maybe there are more already planned, since 3 months between a season is a little much, I think, and since they're going to announce the content of season 1 even before release. If so, we could be looking at 3 rallies now and 3 more later (returns from DR). I hope @ChristinaMc gets the go ahead to shows us that content next week.
