With the announcement of DiRT 2.0 we are approaching the end of era where DiRT Rally has reigned supreme as the Rally game to play.

The 555 McRae World Championship will let it's reign end in style, with an epic event taking in all 72 stages in the game. We'll go on journey through time, racing a selection of the most iconic Rally cars from the 60's to the 90's. Be warned, this is not intended to be an easy rally, there will be minimal servicing, you'll need more than speed to win, you'll need to know how to look after your car and bring it home in one piece.

Each round will be celebrating rally wins from some of the greatest drivers the sport has seen. The first round kicks off on 4th October and will be open until 9th October. From then on there will be one round a week running from Thursday's through to the following Tuesday.

04/10/18-09/10/18: Round 1, 1964: Monte Carlo, Paddy Hopkirk, Mini Cooper S
One of the all time classics, perhaps the first classic rally win.

11/10/18-16/10/18: Round 2, 1975: Sweden, Björn Waldegard, Lancia Stratos
The first win for Björn Waldegard, and done on home territory in one of the most iconic cars in the history of the sport.

18/10/18-23/10/18: Round 3, 1988: Tour De Course, Dider Auriol, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth
No Rally Germany in the 80's, so we'll slip in the tarmac Tour De Course in it's place. This allows us to celebrate another first win done on home soil, this time for the French star Dider Auriol.

25/10/18-30/10/18: Round 4, 1982/3: Finland, Hannu Mikola, Audi Quattro
A double celebration for Hannu Mikola, both 82 & 83 were home wins in the might Audi Quattro, the '83 win was done on the way to taking that years WRC crown.

01/11/18-06/11/18: Round 5, 1983: Acropolis, Walter Rohrl, Lancia 037
On the tail of Mikola in 1983 was Walter Rohrl, taking the Lancia 037 to victory in Greece and the runner up spot in the championship.

08/11/18-13/11/18: Round 6, 1995: Wales, Colin McRae, Subaru Impreza 555
