Other Team Contract Offers & R&D Failures

Morning All,

I have a couple of questions I wonder if someone can shed any light on.

I have completed my first season for McLaren and finished 6th overall.  All the other team interest is high but I was not offered any contracts from any other teams at then end only the standard contract renewal for McLaren.  Also the woman keeps saying Williams are interested but there is never an offer.  Is this right?

Also there seems to be way to many R&D parts that always fail after development, its seemed at least 80% of the parts created failed in the season

Any help with this?
