Thrustmaster T150

Recommended Posts

Help needed, can someone with fast time trial times improve these settings for me, it is very tricky to set up the T150 on F1 2018. I am top 200 with controller but 2 seconds slower after a spending a few days with my first wheel.

Calibration, All set to default except:

Steering Linearity- 20
Steering Saturation- 30

FFB strength- 50
Wheel damper- 5
Understeer Enhance- On

Wheel Rotation- 180 Degrees

For me 180 degrees would be way to less. It results in a very nervous wheel.
I would set it to 360 degree without any linearity or saturation. Tune FFB to your liking.

I find all stock settings to be about right.

Your issue is the learning curve with the wheel. Now those built in assists on the pad aren’t there, and you have to learn the game again. It’s way more fun though. Good luck!

Assists or no assists pad is harder to learn. Wheel has some assists of its own, it is a different style of driving though, lucky I’m a truck driver and a bus driver IRL so I’m picking it up quick enough.

I have a T150, and I set it to 360 degrees, so it is the same rotation as in a f1 car, and I use all the defaults on the controller settings

I’m liking 270 degrees myself with default settings, wheel has definatly made the game more fun and interesting
