Hi all, 

To try to keep it a little more simple, we'll be adding the patch 1.14 discussions to this thread. I've updated the title of the thread to reflect this as well. Please see the patch notes for 1.14 here for further information.

Hi everyone and welcome to the Patch 1.13 discussion thread.

Patch 1.13 is being released for PC today, PS4 and Xbox One to follow soon (subject to first party approval). You can find the full patch notes here.

If something from this patch is not working the way it should, let us know in this thread. 

Please post any other issues and bug reports not related to this patch in the Technical Assistance forums here.

Please be aware that any posts that do not relate to the patch will be removed.

I look forward to the PS4 patch going live and trying this out.

FYI - I know the tyre temp issues caused a massive divide of opinion here - so for the online racers who had no problem with it, do they have the option in their online sessions to switch this "assist" on or off? That way I think this keeps both the career and online players happy.

Thank you guys I can finally play career again. There were so many things addressed in that patch .... I started to believe they will never be fixed, but you guys did it and i am happy (probably a lot of others too)

I believe that the Host of the session will be able to choose between the two.

So i started the game and noticed that Sauber is now a sportsmanship team?! RedBull , Ferrari also and merc Showmanship?
Am I missing something here or were they flipped around due to the quote above

I think you will have a much happier forum on your hands for both career and online simulation racers.

When you say A.I sector times have been reviewed, any chance A.I were sped up at all through Austria Sector 3?

Honestly I find it shameful that Codemasters and Faya in his name ask for proof of the failures and then do absolutely nothing. What about the strict rules? I have to compete with people who skip the corners and the game does not sanction him? It is outrageous. You are loading all the official online leagues and doing absolutely nothing. Let's see now what they break with this new patch and as always Codemasters thanks for nothing.

I dont know if any AI is faster in a particular sector then they should be or do ridiculous times but i thought these unrealistic sector times would be fixed with 

• Improved times generated when a session is fast forwarded or Flying Lap / Return To Garage are used (i.e. time is skipped / accelerated). This will prevent times being generated that are around a second a lap too quick on the higher difficulty settings.

Do you have a saved career? I'm wondering how it would effect your reputation with current team if for example you are towards sportsmanship but the team now expects showmanship

I dont know what impact show/sportsmanship have on negotiating or REP but i think this could be ruining a lost of careers

Yeah i think its not so great .. too bad i was so excited about the patch and to play it again but the times are at least ruining my immersion and this would sabotage my career because i wanted to stay with my starter team sauber

Yeah its leclerc but its fine cause i have made sauber the best team by far so thats not the problem but the sector times are still unrealistic 28.000 27.501 and so on

not yet ... i did only 1 practice session and i honestly dont have the will to find out anymore and dont have the endurance to wait for another 4 weeks patiently and to be dissapointed again ... i mean i had the forums tab open for 4 weeks but now im gonna close it and just dont be active anymore and look into here in 2 months or so again... i just cant handle it

It's in practices, Leclerc can have done this lap time with full power and less fuel.
