Wheel vs pad

I've been playing codemasters f1 games since f1 10 and I have used both wheel and pad for years without crutches. since f1 16 wheel has been way more supreme over the controll pad this year game has took it way too far 1.5 ******* seconds is a joke!!

I have tx i have put in about 6hrs on wheel and about 1weeks worth gameplay on pad. i can lap overtake entire field n tora rossa in 3-4 laps with my wheel on 110% ai for pad im 0.100-300 faster than my team mate struggling n every drs zone I'm constantly defending postion which costs lap time. Basically when I'm using my wheel i can carry way more speed through entire corner from entry to exit with half the effort pad i can brake later but i still lose alot of speed at apex because car just doesn't rotate the same way.  Fast Direction change favours the wheel. The place i lose the most time is on the straights the pad accelerator feels bogged down maybe its down to built in assist but the wheel gas pedal input feels raw i basically bounce off rev limiter alot quicker and maxout way quicker. TT is a joke on wheel basically i can hit top 50 lap without touching brake pedal consistently with improved deltas. pad takes me way longer to reach car lap limits for 200 300 on tt blah!

I dont mind using my wheel as input device but f1 18 makes me feel like using a wheel is a chore i prefer picking up controll pad playing f1 competitively because the simulation feels basic compared to games i enjoy using my wheel for Pc2 Ac iracing.  Sort it out codies because wheel feels cheap to use!

I would like to see a video of you driving a stock toro rosso, at 110 AI, without assists, lapping the whole field in 3 or 4 laps. If you say you can do it easily, show it! :D

Alot of what you wrote is definitely possible though extremely unlikely. But when you said you prefer the controller over the wheel.... well that's just BS.
Nevertheless I too would love to see you lap the field in a stock Toro Rosso in 4laps @ 110%AI..  heck I'll
give you 5 laps. And I'm sure 1 of the eSport teams would give you a full time drive if you actually pulled that off. But you'll have to use a wheel..  ?

I typed lap by mistake instead of overtake! :D   corrected!!

Reason i prefer my wheel over pad is mainly because i dont have rig or space constantly keep my setup. Ffb Vibrations echo drives me up walls as i game mostly late at nite after work. Played on pad for years i put 10x more time on pad than i have on wheel. i just don't enjoy playing with wheel over pad on f1 because simulation feels basic to me games use my wheel for AC pc2 iracing.

Raced online with some of esport drivers on mm Jd im about 0.200 0.500 off his pace in race pace. I rarely ever play f1 games them guys have about 50+ plus beta time more hours than me on each game! Fuk that i have alife lol
