Game was better at launch (PS4-career)

Recommended Posts

For someone who only plays career mode I enjoyed the game at launch more than I enjoy it now.
1.Slower teams still set really fast lap times in qualifying.
2.Tyre carcass has become very difficult to manage for users using the controllers.
3.Safety car never comes out even in dangerous situations. (Safety car option is kept on)
4. VSC still comes out after replay/flashback

Couldn't agree more. I loved the career at launch - now it is full of problems and issues which make it unenjoyable. There always seems to be some sort of qualifying bug every year but this one just isn't getting fixed. Surely Codemasters play their own game and notice these issues?

Yea xbox one and it was deffently better at launch the last patch broke everything it was ment to fix its an shame we couldent get an option to select which patches we wanted as every platform seem to have diffrent issues id be happy for them to put it back to launch spec and leave it .all so since last patch I seem to have the a1 cars fly past is on straights despite is having everything turned upto maximum and running low downforce now in having to have aero low on every track to stand a chance on the straights before last patch was running 5.6 down force were now im having to 2.3 .4.5 I was in 2 minds about downloading the last patch but went and done it and its deffently made it worse havent had an vsc at all since and done an full season since

Yeah, i did 3/4 of my 1st season while it was at release state, now with the patches ive only just completed the season. Just cant be bothered playing it anymore just to be frustrated by bugs. The last 3 races of season 1 after the patches i had (in race order)
SC and VSC
SC
SC
all caused by flashbacks, which resulted in my vaulting my Renault up about 4 spots in the championship due to higher than normal finishes because of gains from the SC.

If you've bought the disc you can always uninstall it and then not install the patches, right? Or does the console have to be offline 24/7 to avoid automatic downloads? I know you could do that on the PS3 but I'm not sure about PS4 and Xbox One. You might wanna give that a shot though.

You shouldn't have to do that tho.
