How to change qualifying and race lenght

Titles is a bit selfe explaining I believe...I looked everywhere and ingame.. I simply can not find out how to change the qualifying from 3 part qualifying to short during an excisting career save...anyone help please?

In between race weekends during the loading screen watch the lower right hand corner and when the option menu becomes available press the button to open the menu and the first screen that comes up you can change quali settings, race length, ai difficulty, and select your tire strategy for the weekend

And have to do this before accepting Practice 1, if you get to the new weekend screen then quit to main screen before doing anything else then reload career and you'll get to do the option again on loading up (PS4 at least for sure).
