CodiesBlogBot 35 Posted November 2, 2018 We were treated to a great night of racing in the first F1 Esports New Balance Pro Series event, and the second live event at the Gfinity Arena in London did not disappoint. Miss out? You can watch the whole event in its entirety here: Circuit Paul Ricard was the setting for the fourth race in the Pro Series calendar, and the first of this event. With a lot at stake, this was always going to be a closely fought race, and we certainly were not disappointed. After a 5 second penalty was given to race winner Brendon Leigh for causing an unavoidable collision, the win was given to Toro Rosso’s Patrik Holzmann. Upon extensively studying footage, however, the penalty was overturned, and it was Leigh who took the win, with Toro Rosso’s Patrik Holzmann and Frederik Rasmussen taking the other spots on the podium. You can check out the highlights from this race here: This wasn’t to be the only time that Frederik Rasmussen and Brendon Leigh battled on track, and this is certainly true of race five, on Silverstone, which you can watch below: Last, but no means least, was Spa-Francorchamps, and it was a dominant Daniel Bereznay who took the chequered flag, but behind him the fight for the last podium place was incredibly close, and you can watch it here: Here are the top 10 driver standings after six races: 1 Brendon Leigh 130 2 Frederik Rasmussen 87 3 Daniel Bereznay 78 4 Marcel Kiefer 40 5 Joni Tormala 38 6 Salih Saltunc 36 7 Patrik Holzmann 30 8 Tino Naukkarinen 28 9 Bono Huis 24 10 Graham Carroll 21 Whilst you’re here, you can also check out our Twitter Moment of the night as it happened. Make sure you join us for the FINAL on the 17th November for the last four races of the series! #F1Esports New Balance Pro Series – Live Event 2 View the full article
