Hi all, just saying goodbye. Some 'stuff' has come up in my life and I've fallen completely off the rails so to speak. I won't be around for a while. 🙂

In regards to spotting the buses, running on the 'Races Special' service, for the Cheltenham Festival or Gold Cup in the UK; I was chatting to an man from Birmingham, who had travelled to Cheltenham just to spot the buses. He had no interest in the horse racing and was doing this in the town centre. He even told me where each bus came from, to run this service and about the buses based in Cheltenham that were never originally meant to be here.

I agree completely, @couger1981. Some days it takes ages, some days it doesn’t. It’s unpredictable at what speed it will perform. It’s been like this, ever since the forum had it’s redesign. Clearly there’s still some sort of bug.

@Lukedfrt, was that really you who came here on the 14/03/2019, to spot the buses that come to here, just to run the 'Races Special' service and then to go back again?! 🤣

Three buses that I spotted today (15/03/2019) and that are the highlights of today’s spots. All five are locally based in at one of the Stagecoach West depots and are double decker buses, in Stagecoach Gold livery; The luxury livery.

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC, YX67 VBO, 10905, in Stagecoach Gold livery

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC, SN66 VYD, 10759, in Stagecoach Gold 94 livery

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC, SN18 KVE, 10996, in Stagecoach Gold livery

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC, SN66 VXT, 10749, in Stagecoach Gold 94 livery

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, VX62 CVS, 15846, in Stagecoach Gold 10 livery

In other news, today was the last day of the Cheltenham Festival / Gold Cup. All the roads will back to normal, with usual traffic conditions, thank goodness! 😁

Tomorrow, I will add in total the local buses used and the buses the buses that came from other parts of the country just for the four days, to run the ‘Races Special’ service. I will post the results when I have added them up.

Going back to traffic conditions, that resulted in the additional traffic that came to the town, from cars, buses, coaches and limousines, there’s heavy delays everywhere; So if you need to be somewhere for a particular time inside of the town, you really do need to add atleast 1 hour travelling time to your journey.

I was on a local bus, Optare Solo M880, AE56 LUO, 47395, in Stagecoach livery and the driver was 33 minutes late, as if results for the racing traffic. This bus was not on the ‘Races Special’ and was on a usual normal service, which have been affected by the additional traffic all week.

I sometimes feel sad that I've been single so long, but then I see what it does to people when it goes wrong. My bro sure knows how to pick them.

All gone wrong with what was his current partner. So she is crazy, broke up with him at least 6 times in like 6 months. Shes super controlling, she wants him to put her first over his own son. She has a daughter of her own like ***.

His kid doesn't like her as shes so controlling and refused to stay round hers, and my bro didn't make him which was wrong in her eyes. Like he knew what was like, but yet not long after our mum died he said life was short so asked her to marry him. I told him not to, I said it wouldn't work, but he hates being single, predictably it has all gone wrong.

You'll love this, she went crazy at him as he gave his 4 year old a piggyback, she said hes old enough to walk, like they are just having some fun. Honestly I've seen less crazy people on the Jeremy Kyle show.

Now hes staying at mine and I'm having to watch him like a hawk, as he was already depressed before this and before our mum passed away. I never thought I'd have to  be the strong brother, as he always looked after me, hes pretty much my dad even though he's only 4 years older than me.

Heavy stuff for this forum I know, but the point I'm getting at is never get in a relationship because you feel you have to. I wish my mum was here, I'm not used to looking after everyone, with my condition just looking after myself is hard enough.

I feel sorry for you, @Hughesy🙂

Your life appears to be difficult. I have never had any form of relationship. I think reading and hearing too many controlling type relationships that other's have or had, has put me off! 😂

Sometimes bad **** happens to good people and it's just incredibly unfortunate and unlucky. Sorry to hear your brother is having a rough time. By the sounds of it he needs to try and get her out of his life, she's causing far too much harm and stress than good.

@McStanley Not all relationships are controlling and horrible, they can be good I promise!

Yeah man, I've got to be careful not to push too hard, as that can push them into proving you wrong and staying with them. It just annoys me as he's a nice guy, and I'd kill to have a dad as good as he is. Even his ex wife is more reasonable, even though she's the one that first caused the depression.

The one thing that has really got me mad is this current girl said he needs to man up and pull himself together, she seems to have no understanding of what depression is.

As you say not all relationships are like that, most aren't in fact. I was with someone for 6 years, right from the start of secondary school up to a year after that. I ruined it by being a miserable ******* due to the pain I was in even back then. We are still friends though, I just wasn't a fun person to around at the time.

@MBKF1, I am sure some relationships can be good, but hearing about the bad ones has put me off, really. To be honest with you, I don't feel ready for a relationship. I still feel too young. Maybe in about 5 years or more, I may start considering this.

@Hughesy, well at least you are still friends with that person. I personally feel friendships are more important, than relationships.

Yeah same. Back then I was angry at everyone and everything. I went from doing extreme sports, to not being able to walk 10 metres unaided. So at that age it was a lot to take in hence not being a nice person to be around.

To be fair though if I could still do extreme sports I'd probably be in a worse condition than I am now, as I had 0 fear. I cheated death a lot, once on a BMX just before taking off a 10 foot high jump my chain snapped and it sent me head first like a dart into the landing ramp with no helmet on. I don't remember it as I suffered a severe concussion, but apparently the first thing I said to friends who rushed over was "pass me a cigarette"

Blimey! I am surprised you survived that fall off of the BMX bike. It’s amazing what people survive.

Oh, good. I’m glad to read that in the end, you did not have to past the car park fine.

The forums crash at least once or twice a day for me, take me to a 500 internal server error.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Been following the 12 hours of rF2 Sebring for most of the free time I've had today. The drivers include Jimmy Broadbent (retired after around 30 minutes), Max Verstappen (You all know the man, super quick) and a driver I believe is @DGreco

Still 2 hours remaining, so if you're interested you can find the stream from Studio-397 YouTube channel or rFactorLive twitch channel

Yes, I get this usually daily. Usually once or at lest twice a day, also. There's clearly still a number of bugs on this new facelift Codemasters Community forum.
