Jiggy 5 Posted March 16, 2017 Well, technically, a Barbie-doll isn't pink lol, also that beats a bootleg West-McLaren livery full of DUDE GREY AND BLACK LMAOOO livery #
RevolvingPrawn 1 Posted March 16, 2017 Here's the courtesy cars Force India's drivers will get this year. Good thing F1 drivers are midgets.

MBKF1 91 Posted March 16, 2017 It's been a while, but Benson is back with his bullsh*t. Writing pure speculation as facts.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/39290908Can't stand the guy. Clickbait king of F1.

Hughesy 254 Posted March 16, 2017 BBC Biased, Bull Crap.......... Also his response to being called out says it all. His only quote goes against what he's claiming, yet he thinks it's facthttps://twitter.com/Clayton1422/status/842330827920932864 https://twitter.com/andrewbensonf1/status/842331984768716801 https://twitter.com/Azraai3/status/842395609956933632https://twitter.com/andrewbensonf1/status/842398374431211520Oh and his response to me, what a tool he is... https://twitter.com/andrewbensonf1/status/842454486505406464
MBKF1 91 Posted March 16, 2017 The only quote or evidence he has in the article is this:'McLaren racing director Eric Boullier said during last week's final pre-season test that there was "no plan at all" to end the Honda relationship.'How on earth he ended up with the conclusion that McLaren are talking to Mercedes, I have no idea. Hughesy 254 Posted March 16, 2017 I'm still arguing with him. He's claiming its a fact, whilst I'm saying it's a rumour at best. I even highlighted the bits that contradict what he's claiming as fact. No wonder journalism gets such a bad name, so many claim something as fact to fit their story. Good fun arguing with him though, but I'm not replying any more because I have better things to do with my life. :joy:Although I'm sad enough to save all his tweets for use at a later date. rob91 0 Posted March 17, 2017 It is well documented that McLaren are having serious problems with Honda, so it may well be a fact that they are looking to part ways with Honda and become a customer team again (it does not neccessarily mean they would be with Mercedes but it would be the logical choice due to their previous long-running partnership). Jonathan Noble from Motorsport.com is running a similar article to Benson and he is one of the most reliable F1 news journalists so I don't think you can call this as BS. It seems the article has made its way to the F1 sports sites Guess some take it seriously.
AMSKRR 3 Posted March 18, 2017 I could definitely see McLaren switching if this year is a total failure again. The progress, if there is much, is too slow.
Hughesy 254 Posted March 18, 2017 But they said they couldn't win a championship as a customer team. It would make the whole thing an even bigger failure if they go back. But yea by now Honda should have been more competitive.
Jiggy 5 Posted March 18, 2017 McLaren has basically ruined their top-team status and went the way of Williams. Moving back to Merc-engines is the final nail in the coffin, unless Mercedes AMG decides to leave as a team again which might not even that far off, but they're done as a top-team. I don't expect them back anytime soon.
Hughesy 254 Posted March 19, 2017 I'm still stupidly hoping everything will be OK lol. I just love the look of the McLaren, the gills on its nose makes it look angry, not surprising when it's powered by a Honda engine. Unlike Williams McLaren still have a massive budget, using the Honda engine helps with that, but obviously they need to be winning.

RevolvingPrawn 1 Posted March 21, 2017 Just watched this, easily one of the best F1 documentaries I've seen. Really good blend of anecdotes, history, and the technical side of things. Don't let the thumbnail put you off, it's made by Whisper Films and DC presents and narrates on it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3SqBFHK4AA
