Moderator MBKF1 Posted October 10, 2016 Moderator Share Posted October 10, 2016 Well, could Magnussen go to Force India then? Do a straight swap with Hulkenberg.

I think Werhlein will go to FI in exchange for cheaper engines like Manor have done. Now I think about it, wasn't Magnussen Haas' second choice for this year if they didn't get Grosjean? Might suit both parties.
Moderator f1since08 Posted October 10, 2016 Author Moderator Share Posted October 10, 2016 An update on this, someone at Read Motorsport has a source who is with Hulkenberg at Enstone to sign the deal. Ocon is likely to partner him so long as his performances are kept up.
Moderator MBKF1 Posted October 10, 2016 Moderator Share Posted October 10, 2016 Stumbled across this on Reddit. If you listen closely, you can hear Lewis swearing as he stops his Mercedes in Malaysia! Really interesting as you NEVER hear anything like this, just shows the true emotion and none of that PR rubbish you usually hear.https://youtu.be/uC-lTSqrOrs?t=9m50sSkip to 9.50. RevolvingPrawn
Saw that earlier too, I thought it was funny how the words he was shouting were almost an exact echo of what I was shouting at the time :p

Moderator f1since08 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Moderator Share Posted October 14, 2016 I know who the first choice to replace Hulkenberg at Force India is, and it's not who you might think...Also, I really like the way the FIA are working the wet starts from next year:http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2016/10/14/safety-car-starts-wont-be-abolished-in-2017/Very well worded and couldn't really be done any better. My only worry is that the SC still stays out for way too long, but with bigger tyres and more aero Charlie might get the message.

Someone is on twitter too much :p Nasr is in advanced negotiations but Wehrlein is also on the cards if the deal falls through. Merc don't want to drop engine prices to any other team but would pay his salary. Whichever is the best money gets the drive.
Hughesy
Wait so Nasr is in advanced negotiations Yet Wehrlein is on the cards, so who here is actually wrong? Because you said you knew who was getting the seat, yet Nasr is the one in advanced negotiations. Bloody Journos :p

RevolvingPrawn
How cool are these? Liveries for the cars designed on the drivers helmet instead of by the team. Cool idea, even though I don't think it'd be the right thing for F1.Link to the designers FB page: https://www.facebook.com/tim.holmes.design/

Jiggy
Why fucking Nasr, the guy literally is having trouble with Ericsson.Ericsson. There are people in the paddock who suspect Ericsson has some kind of brain damage because he tends to switch off too many times at all times.I hope that falls through, I really do, fuck off. Liaveil
He does seem very average amongst even average drivers. Hell Ericsson actually looks the stronger of the two this season.I hope Wehrlein gets it, or someone else more deserving. Nasr is a big step back from Hulkenberg. Mexicola
So this apparently is actually a thing that's really a thing in a game that's a thing in real life which is also a thing.https://twitter.com/LewisHamilton/status/788431849932591104?s=
Chadwick8505
Da-actual-faq? Why is that a thing? Do people that play CoD even know who Hamilton/F1 is? Has Hamilton been a CoD fan all this time? I'm so confused.
RevolvingPrawn
Even though that's kinda weird, it's actually pretty impressive that an F1 driver has gotten into a game that isn't anything to do with F1. Even though it's not what any of us would expect from an F1 Champion, it's undeniable that he puts himself out there as a big advert for the sport. Hughesy
Didn't Kanye West or someone like that get in a COD game before? It's so random, Activision will do anything to milk others success to get more sales rather than actually make a compelling game.
