Pah, that's horrible. The reaction to the 'gay tweet' was if anything positive, and the replies to the subsequent apology criticised them for not having the guts to actually take such a stand. Also, the bunny picture when Kimi left for Ferrari was brilliant. Why so conservative?

Can't stop laughing at one of the comments below though: 'Firing an employee who gives you a bad reputation? Then fire Maldonado...'

Interesting, and very Red Bull...
Expect Nissan to run a V6 1.6 turbo at Le Mans next year ;)
I wonder how well an F1 engine will do at Le Mans. The current LMP1 regs allow a 76 litre tank for hybrid petrol engines, and assuming that lasts about 14 laps you have a range of 190 km. Meanwhile an F1 engine does 300+ km on 100 litres, but on circuits that use less fuel than the Le Mans track which has monstrously long straights. Still think the F1 engine has quite an advantage in terms of fuel efficiency though.

Power-wise, F1 power units develop around 800 bhp (apparently they're more powerful than the V8s), which is less than the Toyota TS040's 1000 bhp- but surely it can't be too hard to ramp up the engine displacement and get more power?

For those who are saying the sparks are shit is not a true F1 fan.

Anyways there are a lot of Drivers getting close to grid penalties because the teams are getting close to their maximum allocated Power unit for the season which is five.

No , anyone who thinks creating an artificial formula is the way to go is not a true F1 fan.

I´am a true F1 fan but sparks are a feature of the cars in the ninetees and not of the new technical cars. It just doesn´t fit.The cars now are perfect for the track surface  and yes it doesn`t fit anymore.

Okay, I've a few things to say about this;

1) Saying someone's not a true F1 fan just for saying they don't like something as minor as sparks is pretty silly.
2) Less of the cheeky attitude, TJ was expressing disagreement with you post. That doesn't warrant you mocking it.
3) The sparks are rubbish.
