Is it finally possible to add custom liveries to DLC cars? 😮

No not yet i'm afraid, not for cars only available to those who buy them at least.

Has anyone done or been able to mod replay cameras?  It would be cool to only have every other roadside camera to eliminate some of the twitchy camera changes and to create a little bit of B roll footage.  If someone can do the modding, I have a couple of requests.

Ah. The M2 is free, of course. Bummer, I was getting my hopes up.

And is it possible (in the near future) to be able to drive all the normal rallycars on RX tracks. I like the DirtFish Free Roam thingy, but I'd like to try some rwd cars like Escort Mk 2, Manta 400, Stratos, 037 etc on those short and twisty RX tracks.

Cheers

Robin

Custom liveries aren't available for DLC cars for an inexplicable reason

It's because if the files weren't encrypted everyone who owns the game get' access to the files regardless of DLC or not. Sadly the livery files are a part of those files. That said they could have removed the encryption when you buy the DLC but then there is the possibility of people uploading the files on the net for others to download and use.

People can upload DR nad D4 cars as an encrypted .NEFS file and use them in DR 2.0

The question is why DLC cars not able use the same way to pick up only .PSSG files from sub-folder as any other cars ?
DLC cars like Subaru 2001 and Focus 2001 or the C4 could use several custom made liveries from the past without hurting the policy of DR 2.0

Based on Rothmans Motul E30 M3 livery. Added a similar door sliding window frame too (IDK how you call it)

(Didn't manage to find DiRT Rally custom liveries thread, if this can't go here, will delete it)

Well so, despite the inclusion of Kit Cars for DR2.0, my hopes of reproducing an almost-full season of the British Rally Championship in its Kit Car era, vanish more with each year it passes, as RBR won't fire up, and a uncertain future in wether CM would add more Kit Cars (or even make DLC cars up for livery modding).

Anyways, I took to 2016's DiRT Rally to make my first take on CM's Kit Car category with this Ibiza-Golf. I would try to improve some details I noticed (despite I had to take some licenses to fit the sponsors) should I learn how to correctly paint the wheels (I tried lot of things, but didn't manage to make a "solid" colour).

Car: Volkswagen Golf IV Kit Car
Numberplate: H VW 153
Driver: Mark Higgins
Codriver: Bryan Thomas
Team: SBG Sport - Volkswagen Motorsport UK
Starting number: #3
Event: 24th Pirelli International Rally 1999
Position: 3rd

Aaaaand after a medium-quality Ibiza, a teaser of what's to come next week (hopefully, I could do a DiRT Rally car version in time)
