All future seasons should be included in the Deluxe Edition

Recommended Posts

Seeing the S1 contents and assuming that S2 will be RX focused i think for the additional 30 euros (20 to the UVP but its 30 really) two seasons of content is a bit thin, especially as in S1 most of it is recycled content so it would be cool to know if ater S2 the deluxe edition owners still will get the new DLC.

IIf so the adapted content should be included for free. I would not bet in a third season. I don't think Codemasters will change how they usually work. I think the season stuff is a way of getting more revenue for the same work.

You don't plan things like extra season in a "If the games sells well" mode. This is even more true after the financial change last year. Christina is doing a great work, but because they try to create artificial hype with every single comment and doing promises they will not deliver unless a bag of money comes in return (VR case).

And I'm not trolling, I just give my opinion. They are free as a company in following their desired business model.

I disagree with that - if you're not into the RX content, just get Season 1 (although I think there'll be a small smattering of rally in DLC2). Three locations, ~70km of stages. Or if you don't want the locations, just get the cars you want. Then if there's a DLC3 you can decide if you want to buy that one.

The Deluxe edition includes all of the Season 1 and Season 2 content.

I wonder why devs haven't added a wet tire option, like it was in rbr. All systems seem to be in place for then to do that(random weather, ai, dry tire compounds), and it would add an extra element of strategy...

Really? So far i've seen only soft-medium-hard choice. Or maybe you misunderstood me, i meant the choice to risk by going on dry or wet tire in uncertain weather conditions, unlike it was it was in dirt rally, where it chose automatically.

I can't confirm if there's a wet option on gravel stages, but I've seen the wet tyre option being in Spain, even when the stages are dry.

You're welcome. Also, something that came to mind... I don't remember seeing wet tyres in gravel stages in real life or in WRC reviews on youtube, usually they just go for the softer and that's it. The wet tyre only makes sense for asphalt due to obvious reasons, so overall this should be correct in-game. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not sure how it happens in WRC now, but in many local championships, tyre is being cut so the tyre tread cleans from dirt better and also in this way grip is improved.

Considering I pay £25 for a single route in Train Simulator (yup I’m a geek), I’d be perfectly happy to drop £20 per NEW rally location.

And I’m far from rich as earn minimum wage.

I'm happy to pay more if there is coming more DLC locations. I pre ordered deluxe version and i'm happy with the content. If there is possibility to have DLC3 and 4, i'm happy to pay more. I'm fine with deluxe to come Season 1 and 2, then if more DLC's is offered, i will buy them if they are interesting ones.

DLC Structure is fine with me. I'd rather it all dropped at the same time but I'm happy with the content.

And I didn't notice the wet tire option, that's amazing. Bodes well for stud options when snow and Monte comes.
