New to rally - any driving technique guidelines available?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am new to rally simulation and was doing in track racing sims so far. I love Dirt2.0 but have a hard time to control the car properly. I am driving in cockpit view with now assists at all.  I have searched through the internet for any rally driving technique guidelines but didn't find something helpful. Does anyone of you have something like that available? Especially explaining how to drive curves - breaking when,....

Regards Mike

When it comes to techniques i think this is a good starting point: http://www.oldrallysport.on.ca/articles/Driving.html

The techniques used are still dependent on what kind of car you're driving, but best would be to watch some rally onboard footage, just to see the lines that they are taking and when they are braking.

Thanks, I will dive into it. Btw I've found out, that for me it's harder with 4wd than with front wheel drive cars.
