Thanks everyone for the replies, been really interesting to see where all the locations rank for all you guys, and feel free to edit your posts as things inevitably change over time 🙂

I’ve been playing a lot of Spain recently in Rally GT and some of the faster rally classes and I love it more and more! It feels like a mini next-gen GRID game inside of a DiRT game, and I am very much ok with that

Actually, all but the last 3 are pretty close and I like driving all of them. Sweden is meh, Finland and Poland are both pure hate for me because they always make me feel forced to go faster than I'm comfortable with in order to keep up with the AI.

Some are basically the same rating for me because they feel similar.....

- Argentina / Greece
- Finland
- USA
- Germany
- Spain
- Australia / NZ
- Monte Carlo
- Sweden
- Wales
- Poland

Poland for me is just terrible, with Wales slightly better. Both have really high speed sections (Poland more so) and any area that has a lot of top gear running is hugely painful on a controller just because you can't make small adjustments to the steering easily so it always feels like you're just waiting for that one little correction or bump you can't catch to destroy an entire event but putting you onto the shoulder into a crash or off into a tree. I know Finland is also a really fast rally but it has a really nice natural flow to it so it doesn't feel anywhere near as nervous.

Sweden is a mixed bag for me, I like the snow but again the fast sections you feel like you're waiting for the snow on the shoulder of the road to pull you off the road.

Both Spain and Argentina I have been enjoying a lot lot more now but I don't really want to say they're better than Greece. Imagine that before now there was a massive gap between Greece and Argentina and between Argentina and Spain and both now have disappeared.

yeah, really really enjoy Argentina (posted my list on first page). on a keyboard the straighter, faster ones are really tough because one tiny tap wrong and you're toast. twisty stuff is very rewarding because I can get into a rhythm, which I very much like.

Well now that new Sweden is out, it's done nothing to increase it's position in my list xD

  1. Wales- Twisty, muddy fun, needing precision.
  2. Finland- Fast and flowing, needing smooth lines and self restraint.
  3. USA- Long sweeping bends with technical bits thrown in for good measure.
  4. New Zealand- Fast and tight, needing a smooth and precise driving style.
  5. Australia- Just don't make a mistake, or you will be punished.
  6. Poland- Big balls or go home. Setup is everything.
  7. Sweden- Momentum, momentum, momentum.
  8. Germany- Tight and twisty, meets open and fast. Watch out for hinklesteins.
  9. Spain- Fast and open with flowing corners- teasing the very edge of control and confidence.
  10. Greece- "Don't cut" means just that. Concentration is everything.
  11. Argentina- Throttle, brake, throttle, brake... repeat until you hear 'That felt good. But let's check the times'.
  12. Monte Carlo- Just nope.

Ah, this was hard to figure out... well except MC.
