[Solved] DSD 12Bit ES Controller for Handbrake works in Dirt Rally but not Dirt Rally 2.0, why?

Recommended Posts

Works in ever other racing sim but not Dirt Rally 2.0, why? When plugged in it rolls the menus.
DEV's please give me an answer? Will you support it or not? Why does it work in Dirt Rally but not Dirt Rally 2.0?
I'm not going to give up asking.

Maybe you can edit the
(E:\[Games]\DirtRally2.0\)...steamapps\common\DiRT Rally 2.0\input\devices\device_defines.xml
file to get your Controller working.

In "dxdiag" you can check the VendorID and ProductID of your Controller and add
<device id="{BEAD1234-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" name="ftec_clubsport" priority="101" type="handbrake" />
to
(E:\[Games]\DirtRally2.0\)...steamapps\common\DiRT Rally 2.0\input\devices\device_defines.xml
file. Type can also be "pad", "wheel",...

Beware of ProductID and VendorID order: my: ProductID: BEAD , VendorID: 1234

Nice tip, man! Thank you very much! Finally I can start Dirt Rally 2.0 seriously! I own a DSD Type 2 Hydraulic Handbrake but it probably works on any handbrake with the DSD 12bit ES Controller on board. I solved it like this: I deleted all devices from the Dirt Rally 2.0 device history and I created a new line into the file "device_defines.xml" (<device id="{33A704D8-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" name="dsd_handbrake" priority="100" type="handbrake" />).
Sorry for my bad english. See you on track!
