Also Monaco tunnel in daylight has had its brightness increased so it goes more white when you exit due to brightness change, realistic but just wait until you hit the ai because you can't see them 

 

I don't think they've overdone anything at all here IMO. Rain affects look stunning in those videos. Yes it's a game but damn that looks so cool and will be so fun to race in. Also the brightness out the tunnel, genius!

Not at all, heavy rain conditions feel as if driving in intermediate conditions, in my honest opinion, CM went too soft on that part.

 

Having driven quite extensively at Karting myself on various tracks in real life, including the occasional wet race, i can only vouch about how bad visibility can get even in light rain once the water gets sprayed on your visor, and that is driving at 20 km/h - 100 km/h in a small Kart, now imagine what the visibility will be like in extreme wet conditions, heavy rain for example, and with insane speeds of 20 km/h - 370 km/h in a devillish machinery such as a F1 or F2 car.

 

If at all, the rainspray density for both light rain and heavy rain needs to be increased by at least +50% to even remotely match the bad visibility that the real F1 drivers experience under such horrendous wet races.

Indeed, totally agree.

 

Another striking detail that we can clearly see in that footage is the red back light.

 

The backlight is blinking much faster on straights than in the corners, whereas in game the backlights are always blinking at the same rate of speed.

 

These type of tiny details have a huge impact on immersion, therefore it is very sad to see that CM did not fix this since 2015.

To be honest with more gameplay vids iam more dissapointed. It looks like 2018 dlc. Where is that amazing localized weather from 2012? Look at pc2 weather where you trying to find dry spots and avoid the acumulated water. Weather is absolutely boring here. After few laps of rain the track is the whole track wet and after next few laps we see just one drying line. And where is that awesome marbles out of line from 2012? There is almost no progression from 2018 no offense sorry.

f1 2019 is the same game as f1 2018. only the formula 2 is really new. the rest are unimportant details!

it is a disappointment for 2 years of development!

i cant understand that!
