Can you capture a replay video of the effect? Preferably in motion, as you see it.

He's on Xbox One S. However I'm on Xbox One standard and have no issues with blurriness.

And I'm on PS4 standard and I also have no issues. @Thierry97 it must be a problem with your tv or monitor, try to adjust the settings on your tv/monitor. I also wasn't happy with the image at first, but messing around with sharpness settings and switching on dynamic contrast in my tv solved all issues. Of course it won't be on the same level as PS4 pro or a powerful PC, but it's absolutely fine. Spamming the forums will not help you I'm afraid.

Could partly be a resolution upscale issue but It's primarily the forced TAA. Temporal Anti-aliasing blurs the image a lot without any sharpening to clean it up, some games offer post-sharpening (forced like BFV or adjustable slider like Doom 2016), but plenty like Dirt Rally 2 still do not, even on PC.

On the PC in DR2 we have a choice of disabling TAA or injecting a post process sharpening filter like Reshade Lumasharpen. On console about all you can do is increase your display's sharpness setting, which won't look great, but it could still help a bit. Go into the menus for your tv and try a sharpness of like 70-80 or whatever looks best to you while playing (default is generally 50). Don't forget to set it back to 50 when watching movies or whatever.

Microsoft, Sony and PC have solved this. Buy an X, a Pro or game on a decent PC.

They have to solve Punto, so it is hard to play and they had to optimize the game for each console:classic_mellow:

Please, watch this video, understand that the Xbox One and standard PS4 are not as powerful and that Codies have done their best to optimise the game for those consoles, but there's only so much they could do given the limitations of the older consoles.

Continuing to demand a fix for "blurry" graphics and filling the forum with spam is not going to help your console be powerful enough to run the game as a higher resolution with max settings

So what should I do ??? @MattyH1812

Buy an Xbox One X if you want better graphics. It's 5 times more powerful than Xbox One S and has super sharp 4K resolution with almost all games 🙂 When you buy something get some information first, because you could have seen it on the internet that the Xbox One S has the worst resolution and graphics of all the consoles, so you shouldn't expect super sharp image from it.

It's like buying a Fiat Punto and then complaining it's not a Ferrari even though it's from the same company and you paid less.

I don't change consoles for just one game:classic_unsure:

Yeah, the new consoles will come out 2 years from now, so you can stay with Xbox One S for now. Next time, buy the console which is the most powerful and you won't have this problem. Also, you can sit further away from your screen, so you will see a sharper image. Everything looks sharp if you watch it from far enough.

Seems to be NeverEnding Story, Thierry 97 and blurry graphics.
Over 300 post about this issue 🙄

One thing you could do is check your eyes at optician, if there is refractive error you may correct problem with proper glasses 🤓

btw, were some time off from game and yesterday installed updates and graphics seems great with standard PS4 and OLED@HDR. Maby they fixed something or forgot how nice it is.
FFB patch is also nice, there´s not same kind of immersion about g-forces like with DR1 but it´s just fine. Maby there was some FFB specialist with DR1 who left CM.

instead of continuing to criticize. ps4 has been resolved while xbox is still identical and is absurd as a thing, a game of 2019 cannot be seen so point.:classic_angry:

85/5000

and in any case the x is the console that is best seen and the year optimized only for that.

Xbox One standard, not the S just the original black one. I can play the game with no blurry issues, in fact I think the graphics are better than at launch. Yes there's some screen tearing and FPS drops in heavy trees etc but overall the I love this game. Even without the deluxe version the DLC is inexpensive which is great.

Xbox One X obviously is the best one but it's expensive.

Standard works fine. If there are issues with blurriness it must lie with Codies themselves because if you look at Forza 7 or Forza Horizon 4 the graphics are as sharp and detailed as you like. So it's not the console.

That said I still love DR 2.0.

The game is not perfect, but I thank codies for the efforts they make and another big thank you for adding é wales in the dlc!

this guy is getting seriously annoying. every day multiple posts about the same thing.

although they did fix bluriness on PS4 but not sure if they rolled out a patch for the same on Xbox. don't see why they wouldn't though.

Thierry, one thing i will say if you don't want to upgrade your console, is to upgrade your monitor. or change to a monitor if you're playing on a TV at the moment. i have a 55-inch 4K HDR TV but recently bought a 27 inch LG UL600 (also with 4K and 'HDR') and holy wow, the difference in quality is astounding. on my TV things were still a little bit blurry even after the PS4 patch, but playing on this new monitor everything looks amazingly sharp and clean, and the graphics really stand out. even the things like lens flare, bloom etc. aren't as annoying as they were before. i guess my TV wasn't as good as i thought it was.

i never realized how much difference a good monitor can make compared to playing on a TV, it's almost like buying a whole new console. this monitor has freesync too so all those annoying little frame drops i'd get every now and then are completely gone as well.

But PS4 is much faster than Xbox, so it's a lot more easier to fix. How many times do we have to write this? 🙂 What is easier? Buying a Ferrari for 100,000 USD or for 1000 USD? Same applies here. Fixing for Xbox is a lot harder or it's possible that it cannot be fixed, because it's that slow.

Well if you're playing on a 4k TV running a game that struggles to maintain 1080p then of course it's gonna look bad 😂

Honestly think you're just trolling at this point
