Hi JKangSC, I do have the same issue with you. I totally lose the connection to Racenet, I tried 10+ times a day, from morning to the evening, however, it always shows the failure.

So annoying....

i see from your other posts you are in mainland China. i am also in mainland China (foreigner working here), and also have not been able to connect to Racenet at all recently over my default connection (China Unicom). do you have a Chinese PSN account? I have a US PSN account.

Dirt Rally 2.0 is literally the ONLY game I have that won't connect over my default connection. All other games work fine. Have tested this with Fifa 19, Borderlands 2, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and a few others. all connect to their respective servers with no problem. so it's a Racenet issue for people in mainland China.

basically the only way you are going to be able to solve the problem is to install a VPN on your router. You need to get a really good router, I would recommend an ASUS AC86U which is the router I've got. then get a VPN service like vpn.ac or Astrill. those are the two best at the moment. don't bother with ExpressVPN, they are terrible these days and easily blocked by the CCP. both vpn.ac and Astrill have OpenVPN files that can be installed on your router, with the Asus routers it's really simple. and both those VPN providers have customer support that will help you if you struggle.

Astrill mirror site (should work in China): https://www.astrill4u.com

vpn.ac mirror site (should work in China): https://vpnac.org/

VPN on the router is the only way i'm able to connect to Racenet recently. in the past have had no problems at all.

you could always just wait until they reset the Racenet server at 11GMT tomorrow (11 June) to see if that fixes the problem, or until the current round of blocking to external sites in China is over. there is currently huikou testing or something going on this week so you might have to wait until next week.

Yes, I'm unable to access Racenet in DR, DR2 and Dirt 4.

Thanks mate. Hopefully resetting the racenet server will fix the issue.

that's interesting, i thought it was just a Playstation problem. I guess it must be the Racenet server refusing connections from mainland China then for some reason. Or the Chinese ISPs refusing to send a connection to it. Had no idea it was happening with all Dirt games.

a Racenet server reset should hopefully solve the problem. i think they are gonna do that because of the issue with credits not paying out anyway.

since you are on PC have you tried connecting to Racenet with a VPN on? You shouldn't need to install one on your router then if you're on PC, only for PS4 that that is needed.

Here is one solution: try "UU Accelerator/UU加速器"(which I think is a VPN in nature), and accelerate the Dirt 4 (pay attention: it's Dirt 4 instead of DR2).

It is working and I received all my credits in Month Events.

Tried DR2 servers in it. It doesn't work for me.

The thing is I don't want to pay extrace 30 RMB/month just playing DR2.

The tricky point is, not try DR2 server, but the Dirt 4 server in UU Accelerator.

UU Accelerator has a 3-day trial period for each phone number in mainland, and I believe your close friends' phone numbers could afford you 20+ days free trial. Hope the problem could be fixed by then.

Good luck to all of us~
