Thrustmaster T500 wheel

Recommended Posts

Can someone please assist please.

I just purchased f1 2019 on PS4 and can't get my wheel to work.

How do I get the game to recognise it??

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers

Michael

Furthermore, I have been able to get the game started but what happens is when I change a setting (I was trying to tune down forcefeedback) and it asks me to save a new profile.  The profile saves however it then disconnects the wheel and the game can not locate it.  Even if I shut down the game and restart the game can not locate my wheel.

Can anyone advise me how  I report bugs to codemasters please?

Sorry I havent been on here for a while and not too sure where to go!

You are in the right place, please update your wheel before posting this as a bug.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest LGS? I had a G920 and all the issues were with Registry cruft around the software.

What is LGS??  Logitech Gaming Software by any chance??

I am using this on PS4 and its a Thrustmaster  T500 wheel.

I was so excited to give F1 2019 a burl this evening, but doesn't look like thats going to happen!!

T500 works fine on my side with F1 2019 - PS4.

1) Plug your T500 to your PS4 (the wheel auto-calibrate)

2) Launch the game with the DualShock4 controller

3) The wheel auto-calibrate again

4) During the generic of the game press "ROUND" button on the T500

5) T500 wheel is now functionnal in the game (and perfectly recognized in the options) 👍

Yes but make a change to the config and save that to a new profile and it does not recognise the wheel untill  you restart your entire ps4 system and then it works fine.

T500 not working for me either with latest firmware (47.00).  (T500RS if it makes a difference?)

It's just not detected, though it does spin when the game starts.

PS4 Pro.

Here's what happens:

1. Completely shutdown PS4 Pro.

2. Start PS4 Pro - wheel auto-calibrates.

3. Launch the game with the DualShock4 controller.

4. Wheel auto-calibrates again.

5. During the game start up movie press O button on the T500 - NOTHING happens.

6. During the game start up movie press every other button on the T500 - NOTHING happens.

7. Give up and press DualShock4 controller O button, then later press options button.

8. Go to controller options, and T500 is not listed only DualShock.

Wheel works fine in 4 other PS4 driving games with no issues.
Tried the wheel in both USB sockets, no difference.
