f1 2019 steering wheel issues PC

I have a fanatec csw 2.5 with the f1 2019 wheel. The game is only seeing keyboard control options no wheel. my setup has been fine. windows 10 sees the wheel and other games have no problems.

Im also not able to select hdr option with the dx12 version? only dx11. windows 10 has hdr enabled. running nvidia 2080ti with 430.86 driver.

I run as well with CSW 2.5 in F1 2019 and the game sees my steering wheel fine. Maybe an update of the wheel base firmware is needed?

i already ran the latest update (before i ran F1 2019) for the wheel, using 336 beta driver (using podium shifters) which then required me to flash both base and wheel. Iv just checked iracing and i needed to reconfig in there but the wheel works fine. im just going to check to see if the wheel works in f1 2018. im guessing codemasters need to update the game to accomodate this wheel driver version.

RIGHT! wheel works fine in F1 2018!!! So the problem is with F1 2019, no surprises i guess.

Are you using a USB hub of any kind?

Can't help with HDR issues I'm afraid.

I thought it might of been the new beta drivers from Fanatec, but I had this issue with the older drivers. No I’m not using a usb hub. Like I said the game f1 2018 works fine, the game sees my wheelbase and pedals which are both plugged in separate USB ports. With f1 2019 the game only sees my keyboard nothing else.

sorry Stevie, yes i have a usb hub installed but the wheel and pedals are connected to the motherboards usb sockets, i also tried connecting them to the hub but made no difference

ok iv fixed the issue, i needed to disable generic gamepad support in controller settings within 'steam'

Hi. I have a problem as well similar to yours. My clubsport gets no force feedback or anything but is recognized. Can you tell me how to disable generic gamepad and see if it fixes the problem.Thanks
