I think the biggest problem with racing line on is you don’t feel the speed. You are so concentrated on the line and the colours that you don’t really feel how the car feels through the corner. With racing line on it is hard to have this feeling where you think, a little bit more is possible through the corner. 

What I am asking since 2017 and what would it make way easier to practice, would be the practice programs as a menue option without loading a GP. Especially the track program. That would be great.

I would welcome something like in GT Sport where instead of the racing line you got an indicator where you roughly have to start breaking and an indicator which gear you should use in the corner. That way you get the "feeling" you mentioned but still aren't left completely without help.
