[PC][F2] Can't change the amount of fuel [R2]

• Description: There is no option to change the amount of fuel in the F2 setup menu. Maybe I'm just blind, but I can't find it.
• Platform: Steam
• Game Mode: F2 Championship - Offline

At the moment a full F2 Championship is not playable. Practise with only three laps of fuel on each run doesn't make any sense if you wanna try out different setups. Especially if you have to warm up the tyres first. Furthermore Quali, with only one set of tyres, is very hard, too. You only get one lap with warm tyres, cause you need two laps to properly warm them up and if you want to go a 2nd time you have to stop for fuel and warm them up again, which sucks because of the tyre wear.

Could someone else acknowledge this bug. It seems that I'm the only one with this problem so far 😄

I can confirm! There are tracks that do not even allow to set a qualifying lap because the car is underfueled. I highly recommend patching this otherwise only races are playable in the F2 series.

I believe this only happens if you load an F1 car setup ( it loads the F1 amount of kg/fuel as well which I think is not enough for F2). If you create a setup from the menu you should always have enough fuel.

Afraid not.  I tried a new set-up and still no fuel load adjustment.

Oh right I was talking about being sent out with too little fuel for a lap after loading a setup. You still wont be able to adjust it, but if you load an F1 car setup I believe that causes that issue of being extremely underfueled. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah mate, that's the solution! You must not load a F1 setup. Use one of the presets or create one on your own. THANK YOU!!!

Hey! Thank you all for your feedback on this. We have passed this onto the design team however the inability to adjust fuel level for F2 is currently by design.

@RedDevilKT for the race I'm fine with the inability to adjust the fuel level, but that we can't change the amount of fuel in quali or even practise must be a bug. You can't even build a setup or perform a long run during practise and thats the whole point of practise.

To make that clear, there is no option to change the fuel during practise and quali in the setup menu and that is our problem.

F2 sold F1 2019 for me, but with current issue with fuel, your options are limited, is thier a ETA for this fix ?
I fail to see how with all the Beta's testers ( TESTING ), and people getting early access how it was realised with this issue, a car in ( TESTING SESSION ) with no fuel in a racing game, HELLO PEOPLE,

Also is thier a ETA for the F2 2019 season update.

You assume us beta players 1. Got to play F2 (which in reality we didn’t really) 2.Got this version of the game (we didn’t) 3.  They listened and acted upon any feedback we gave. (They didn’t) 4. Programmed the game (we didn’t) 5.  Jog on (you should!)  If the game is broken don’t blame the beta testers pal who are merely guinea pigs and put in their own time to try and improve the game through feedback (we don’t know what they listened to or not the same as you!).  Instead blame the programmers and directors of Codemasters.  Blaming the guinea pig is like blaming the people who bought the game for there still being faults in the game 3 months after release

Beta tester here too, no need for all the salt in this thread! Without going into detail about the testing for obvious reasons the F1 multi-player car was the main test vehicle and f2 multi-player cars were added towards the end. I believe the fuel issue was pointed out by someone in the beta but there so much input from all us testers that i can't remember for sure. I dont think you were actually criticizing the testers themselves in your original post.

I dont know what is avaible to Beta testers, and whats not its "secret"  , all I know is, am gonna try my hardest to be a part of beta testing F1 2020, cause F1 2019 beta testing process was a epic FAIL, it has to be said,

This year theirs a big increase in new forum members with issues / complaints etc, more issues and complaints from existing forum users, in my opinion even though overall the game is a improvement on last year and am enjoying it, theirs more issues than last year,

Ultimately it has to be said, its down to testing process, what else are us gamers who are not involved suppose to think ?

Well agree with all that but when you admit knowing nothing about the beta testing it's not really fair to jump to conclusions and actually blame the whole thing. I mean the game was in development for 2 years apparently yet beta testing only started about a month from release. No way all the issues were going to be fixed in time! They might not ever be with all the new ones being reported here.

Formula 2 is a balanced field @F3Tz. That includes the amount of fuel on board at the start of practice, qualifying and the race. You don't get the option to change the fuel load or mix as you do in Formula 1.
