I‘ve tried your app but it seems not fully functioning for Codemasters games. First of all there is no F1 car in the dropdown menu for car settings and second half of the graphs shown „this data is not supported by the game“.

It might be a powerful app but if i have only half of the data it’s not really powerful for F1 2019.

Third thing is it uses the broadcast mode which isn’t really good, because as soon as i switch it on all other devices didn’t work anymore.

The manual addresses a lot of the things you brought up, first the car selection is a "generic" car list it's not meant to be for one game like you suggested to help people get an idea what IR they might need. for F1 2019, the only inputs you need to enter are wheelbase and track width.

F1 2019 actually supports quite a few data channels more than games like ACC. I think F1 2019 supports more than 75% of the available data channels.

@Zeraxxgiven the chart above how come the following below do not impact the channels for the temps for brakes and tires for F1 2019?

uint16 m_brakesTemperature[4]; // Brakes temperature (celsius)
    uint16 m_tyresSurfaceTemperature[4]; // Tyres surface temperature (celsius)
    uint16 m_tyresInnerTemperature[4]; // Tyres inner temperature (celsius)

So in the tool there are two temps tabs, 1) "Tire Temps, and 2) "ABS Temps" Abs temps stand for absolute temps, they are just the raw channels for temperatures, where as tire temps are temps that show you how much camber to use if your pressure is good, and they require I-M-O Temps which the game doesn't support.

Regarding brake temps, I tried to do brake temps but for some reason they were always 0 I can revisit though, it might have been patched.

would it be possible to set the telemetry tool to a fixed UDP port? For me it is only recording by using broadcast mode, but then all my other software (SLI MaxManager, SimCommander 4, Force Feel) doesn't work.

Would be great to have it on a fixed UDP port without broadcast mode. I could stream the UDP data via the server tool from EKSimRacing.

Great Idea, I'll look to try to get this added in the next few updates.

Ive been using this software for the past 3 weeks now.

its made a big difference in my knowledge of car setups, understanding what needs to be worked on among other things..

As a result my lap times have improved and my car feels alot more stable in race trim.

i still have much to learn @Zeraxx has been extremely accommodating and helpful and aiding me in understanding the software and tweaking my setups...

id recommend this software to all sim racers who are serious about competitive sim racing...

The manual has been updated for V1.0.19 to reflect the changes made with the last software updates.

The following changes have been mate:

1) Split up the Car Parameters chapter on a per game basis and added missing info about ride height/suspension travel setup and IR estimation
2) Added chapter for Total Wheel Loads in "Handling"
3) Added chapters for Understeer Angle 2 and Fuel in "Run"
4) Added Strategy chapter

You can download it via the "Help" button in the app or from the following link:

Google, lots of article talking about f1 specs for those inputs, however you can mostly use 3.6 for wheel base and 1.6 track width and be close.

Thanks for your answer. I think you could explain that in your document. I understand that the spring and ARB values coming from F1 2019 must be multiplied by 100. Per example, the front spring at 3 in the game becomes 300 in the software and the ARB value on 8 becomes 800. Why isn't done automatically ?

I'm never sure when looking at my telemetry, if I can really trust my results...

It is done automatically, do a lap and go check the car params they should automatically be populated.

You're right. Sorry, I should have read your document before writting my comments.

I found a little error in the text on top of page 40 In F1 2019 most car parameters are automatically filled out by the because the game transmits this data via its UDP stream...There's a word missing ?

i really appreciate this software and i hope you continue your excellent job.

Hey guys just wanted to give everyone an update in case you were wondering where we have been. Our last update was a month ago and we at RST strive to have a release every 2 weeks, that being said we are currently working on quite a few updates. One of them being a major overhaul to our track map systems. You will now be able to overlay 10 channels on the track map including time slip. Not only will you be able to overlay these new data channels you will also be able to compare two laps with a side by side track map which will give you a quick glance where the car is exhibiting certain behavior or where you can improve as a driver.

Additionally, the real world race season is starting back up so my time is becoming more and more limited with that being said we have 2 other developers working round the clock working on future updates. Also, I would like to mention this is what sets RST apart from any other sim racing telemetry software on the market. RST is developed by real life engineers bringing you real world data analysis to sim racing. RST takes care of the math channels for you, and with our excellent documentation and 24/7 support we promise you will learn more about car dynamics than you ever thought you would need to.

PUBLIC RELEASE 1.0.23

-       Corrected PC2 Lap Logic, if doing a practice session and going back to the pits (without restarting the game session), it will set a new RST session instead of continuing the last session.

-       Revamped the Track Map, you can now compare different laps on the track map, just check a "baseline" lap and select the lap you would like to compare.

 -       Track Map data now includes, Track States, Lat G, Speed, Brake/Throttle, Bumpiness, Differential Locking/Unlocking.

-       The Strategy tool will now only analyze strategies you have entered data for, for example if you don’t want to analyze a two stop but you do want to analyze a one stop and a three stop, just don't enter any of the parameters in the interface for the two stop. The strategies that data is entered for will populate.

-       Fixed issue where PC2 Car Params would sometimes resort to previous values.

-      Changed the Icon on the "Load Car Params" to be the same icon as used elsewhere in the application.
